Sam smiled. "Old frenemies of mine. Arik is the current stand in for the god of death, and Damascus is the god of dimensions. Both high up on Inspa's wanted list, but they've only recently decided to participate in the war," he said, beginning to walk in the direction of the building in the distance
Not wanting to get left behind, Lata began walking. A few months ago if someone told her that she would be welcomed into a family, fight a monster for a soul key, and then transported into some dimension of gods, she would have laughed, thinking the person were drunk.
"They're not that bad of people, especially considering most of the gods in this dimension," he said before stopping abruptly. The guards moved into a fighting stance, forming a small circle around the group. Something moved in the pale grey-green bushes next to them, and Sam's eyes narrowed. "Stay behind the guards," he muttered quietly, and Lillith reached for a knife strapped underneath her dress
Lata bit her lip, preparing for anything. Then again, how could she prepare really? Everything here was probably stronger than what any mortal could fight.
The bushes rustled again, and something sleek and metallic slipped from behind them. It was an odd machine, with one large lens for a face and serrated teeth-like protrusions on its lower 'jaw.' It was thin and seemed sort of like a wingless dragon. More machines with a similar design began to slip from the brush before a strange-looking man in a bird mask and holding a scythe appeared from the cover of the fog. Sam squinted at him, smiling. "Advocate, how nice to see you," he drawled, folding his arms
Lucy tensed at the movement, staying close to Lata to protect the girl if needed. Her jaw clenched tightly as she watched the bushes warily.
(gtg take my english final ugh
be back in like 2 hours hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)
The man took a step towards them, the machines beginning to circle the group slowly. "Samandriel?" he asked, leaning forward a little as if he was trying to see them better. "Why do you look so…" he trailed off, gesturing at Sam for lack of words. Cas looked over at him, peering out from behind Sam. The man seemed to light up at the sight of him. "And Cassiel! What are you doing here?"
(Yeah, I have to go take a chemistry exam, and idk if I’ll be around until later tonight, have a party to go to after school Oof)
Orion has his hood pulled up, gloves over his hands, walking barefoot even here. A Guardian among those who would not recognize him. Looking around, the trees call to him, begging him to stop what has been happening in the worlds. Turning his head away, he looks to the newcomers, the faintest glint of blue eyes.
Cas smiled behind his mask. “Advocate! How good to see you!” he tittered happily. Advocate made a small motion with his scythe and the robots stood down, most of them backing into the brush.
“Come on, then. Arik is waiting,” he said, turning to walk towards the building
Orion follows at the rear of the group, watching silently, walking silently. He seems to already know his way around.
(IM BACK AND DEAD INSIDE- ok minus that second part haaaaa)
//ayyy I finally started watching supernatural and I gotta say dean’s kind of an asshole
Lata watched as the man with the scythe turned and lead the group towards the building in the distance. Hesitantly, she continued walking with the others. She hoped Sam was right in saying the two they were about to be visiting weren't bad people.
(I'm waiting for Shin to come back and to have a tiny rant about how good it is and me in the corner like: I like books :3)
(In Dean’s defense he’s an asshole for good reason. You’ll see later on)
Advocate led the group through a tunnel of trees, the fog clearing just a little to show an enormous mansion made of wood before them. Its paint was chipped and peeling and the odd Japanese-style door was broken here and there
//he’s wearing like three (four if his boobs are, as he says, real) layers in what looks like a summertime or at least spring California?
(Me in the corner just confused)
(How to know when you are a true Winchester. FLANNEL! LEATHER JACKETS! SO! MANY! UNNECESSARY! CLOTHING! LAYERS! and trench coats….long trench coats………)
(you can never forget the trenchcoat)
(Oof it’s been a while since I’ve watched Supernatural)
Lucy walked alongside Lata at a slow pace. She wouldn’t have normally suggested they be so friendly with a random person, but if Sam and Cas knew them, then she supposed it should be okay.
More of the machines were draped along the mansion's balcony, varying in shape and design. There was one that looked like a snake with arms looped around the balcony right above the front doors. It fixed its beady optic at them before pulling itself out of the way of the doors. Advocate opened them, and they stepped into a fancy, well-lit hallway
Looking around, the place seemed quite elaborate. Lata had never seen anything so fancy in her life. She almost smiled in awe before remembering where she was.
"Welcome to the Court of the Underworld," Advocate said, doing a little bow. He tossed his scythe into the air, which vaporized into nothing. "My name is Advocate, and I am pleased to make your acquaintance." As soon as he said this someone in a cat hoodie and covered in stitches barged into the hall from a random door next to Advocate.
"And I'm Echo-oh shit!" he yelled before slipping and ramming into Advocate, sending them both sprawling to the ground. Advocate groaned, adjusting his mask.
"Yes, this is my fellow reaper Echo." The reaper grinned widely, waving a hand from under the pile.
"Sup!"
Lucy’s brows raised in surprise when the two went down. She gave a polite smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes, introducing herself as well.
Lata laughed a bit at Echo's clumsiness. (sorry for short 1 liner but I'm multitasking lol)
