Ender opened the door and hopped out, offering his hand to Venus.

(I'm so sorry!!!!! I am here!) Venus took Ender's hand and ducked out of the car. When she was out of the car and shut the door, she didn't let go of his hand.

(I'M BACK!!)
Ender led her over to the others. "Are we all ready?"

"I am," Venus said, squeezing his hand.

“Yep,” Jane smiled.

"Where's Blaine and Nessa?" Ender asked, glancing around

“Dunno. Must’ve gone ahead,” Jane said.

"Well let's go catch up!"

“Okay!” Jane said, leading the way.

Venus followed Jane as she opened the door to the ice cream parlor. A frosty chill coated her arms and she shivered. A small smile spread across her lips.

"Are you cold?" Ender asked.

"A little," Venus confirmed. She looked around at the (I'm going with this so…) manilla colored walls and the checkered floor - bubblegum pink and cotton candy blue - and admired every inch of the shop.

Ender threw his arms around her. "I WILL KEEP YOU WARM!"

Venus giggled, snuggling closer to Ender.

"What are you gonna get?" He asked.

Venus surveyed her options. "Hm… How about… mint chocolate chip."

(I personally hate mint chocolate chip it tastes like severed souls to me lol)
Ender nodded. "That sounds good!"
