Markus nods and starts to play as well.

Rose banged her drums.

(Is that the correct term? idk.)

Kai picked up his bass again and began to play along, continuing his humming along, but at a lower volume as to not mess up the vocalists.

"Sounds great, everyone!" Dawn exclaimed after she had finished. "You guys wanna write that down before we move on to the next bit?"

Rose shrugged, "I change it up everytime so I'm not."

"I think you sound great, sugar!" Mark says, smiling a bit. "Beautiful voice Dawn." He winks at Kai, "Lovely work, honey."

Dawn blew a bit of hair out of her face. "Okay, next part," she declared, starting to hum the last part that she'd sang to get her voice at the right pitch. When she was ready, she sang the next piece of the song and ended after a few lines.

"Lookin' fine yourself!" Kai shot back with a smirk before moving on to the next piece of bass notes to play.

Mark blew a kiss at Kai before messing with his guitar strings, thinking through different chords.

"Are you both cheating on me?!" Rose accused playfully. She worked on the next rhythm patterns.

Kai's face grew slightly red, but he pursed his lips. "Never, my queen!" He declared a bit too loud and got up from his stool to 'bow down' to Rose.

"Good," Rose looked down to Kai, "Now continue on peasant. We hast a song to make."

"As you command, Your Majesty." He chuckled and sat back up in his seat, resettling the bass.

Rose nodded, she giggled. Her focus kicked back in as she worked with the beats again.

Mark bows, "Sorry to offend you m'lady, your knight in shining armor awaits." he says, smirking a bit.

Dawn rolled her eyes at the theatrics and continued to listen to the rest of the musicians.

"This sounds great, you guys. We're almost finished with the entire song. Anyone want to take a quick break?" she asked.

"I could go for some food." Kai piped up before anyone could decline. His stomach seemed to growl in response, as it confirming his statement.

Mark raises his hand. "Bathroom break please!" Before anyone can argue he waltzes off.

Rose looked at Mark, "Thy offense has been cleansed. Now this queen needs a break before hyper focusing kicks in and ruins my life."

Mark chuckles as he quickly leaves. A few minutes later he comes back, humming a tune under his breath, swaying his hips ever so slightly.

"I think there's food in the cooler over there, Kai," Dawn said, gesturing to a small, red cooler in one corner of the room. "You could see if there's anything you want in it."

Rose got up and stretched. She made sure not to touch the drum set.

"Mkay. Thanks" He nodded his head at Dawn before heading over to the cooler to browse.

Tod yawns, despite being all pumped from the song; his jaw pops from the big yawn. He sets his guitar down and stretches his arms out a bit. "Dawn, when is this party?"

"It's…" Dawn trailed off as she pulled her phone out of her pocket and checked her calendar. "Next Saturday."

Tod raises his eyebrows. "Do you think we'll be ready by then? I mean, we haven't really performed…I mean, not for anything big yet."

Dawn shrugged. "I think we'll be fine. It's not that big of a group, just about sixteen people. Kenzie didn't want a big wedding party, so they kept it small."

"Oh fun. A wedding. I hope they give us cake." Kai said as he searched through the cooler before pulling out a Lunchables box.

"It'll be a gig," Rose said, "But not some super mega if we mess it up our careers are ruined type of gig."
