He nods, "Alright…"

Zanna looked out the window. She asked Alex again, "Are we getting close?"

"It's been thirty seconds." He says, snorting.

"I'm sorry," Zanna says with a mock sass, "My old ship was faster than this piece of junk."

She laughed playfully, signalling to Alex she was joking.

Jonathan sighed. He was waiting to see somebody or something, but he suspected that wasn't going to happen for a while.

"We would have already been there if someone hadn't requested not to do hyperspace." He says, chuckling.

Gwen crossed her arms. "It makes me feel sick. We're not going in hyperspace unless you guys want to clean up my vomit."

"It's a small jump," Zanna said, "It shouldn't be that bad."

She sighed. "Fine. If you guys want to go through hyperspace, go ahead. I'll be closing my eyes and trying not to puke."

Alex shakes his head. "If she's going to throw up, I'm not taking any chances. I have valuable tech in here."

"I could maybe try something," Zanna suggested. She could feel a small amount of pressure building. If they accepted it could get them there faster and get rid of the pressure. That is if it worked.

Alex nods, "I'm up for anything." he says, smiling.

Zanna walked up towards the front she looked to Gwen, "Do I have the go ahead?"

Gwen hugged her knees against her chest, bracing herself. "I guess…"

Alex nods, "You have the go ahead."

Zanna looked at the coordinates ingraining them in her mind. She closed her eyes and focused on the space in front of her. She forced out her quintessence in front of her, Please work. Please work. She moved her hands in a clock ward motion. A wormhole just big enough to fit the ship through appeared in front of the ship, "Go now! I can't hold it long without an actual generator!"

"What the hell is that? What are you doing?!" Gwen exclaimed.

Alex nods, not fighting her words and zooming through the wormhole.

Zanna bit her tongue tasting the blood that filled her mouth. It was an effort to not scream as the wormhole ate away at her quintessence, Go ahead take it. I have plenty to spare. Once they were out on the other side she closed it falling to the ground trying to catch her breath.

Alex walks to her side, not being able to run thanks to his injury, "You okay?"

"Y-yeah," she pants, "That took me out of me than I thought it would."

"What did you even do?!" Gwen exclaimed as she stood up.

"I used my quintessence to form a wormhole," she replied still breathing heavily.

"Quinte-who-now?" Gwen tilted her head as she spoke.

Zanna laid back on the floor, "Too tired to explain it."

"Fair enough." She sighed, feeling very stupid at the moment.

Alex chuckles, "I have an adrenaline shot somewhere…" he mutters, "Quintessence is basically the life force of a living thing. It's what bonds the lions of voltron, the whole universe actually."

Zanna lazily pointed to Alex, "It's that. And my body is chalked full of it. Wooo."

Gwen shook her head. "That sounds like a load of hippie crap, but alright."

Alex smiles, finding the adrenaline shot. "May I?" he asks, tilting his head at Zanna.
