She rolled her eyes playfully when Noel sipped very loudly, she moved to start making the French toast. She was following the recipe as she did it, she didn't want to mess up.

Ignis prepped the plates and the mugs. He walked to a nearby table and set up for their first meal. He placed platters of scrambled and fried eggs, toast, and an assortment of jelly. He went to check on Kali, although the smell assured him she was doing well on her own.

Despite wanting to stay like this, Alister grew more and more conscious the longer his hand held onto Evan’s. He felt Evan shift, and then the other boy’s face was in the crook of his neck. Alister’s eyes flew open wide, and his heart began to pound. It was at this point that he realized that Noel was not here, which made his heart pound even more, but once he figured she probably just woke up earlier, he calmed down, even in this strange position. He leaned into Evan a little, then reached up to tap him on the cheek.
“Evan…?” He groaned. “Can you hear me?”

She wasn't doing half bad, she could be doing better but she could also being doing a lot worse.
She noticed him coming towards her and smiled at him, "I don't think I did half bad." She spoke, sounding a little bit more confident then normal. "I thought I was gonna burn it."

He leaned into Evan a little, then reached up to tap him on the cheek.
“Evan…?” He groaned. “Can you hear me?”

He was just asleep holding onto alister, and settling somewhere that seemed warm and cozy.
He heard some voice, speaking to who he didn't know.
After he realized that he was the one they were talking too, he tried to focus on who was talking to him.
"Mm.." was all alister got in response. "Five more minutes.." He snuggled up to alister.

Alister sighed, but he couldn’t deny that being held like this wasn’t too bad. Like most other mornings, he stayed stationary, unwilling to face the demands that came with the light of day. Evan’s warmth and touch only reinforced that desire.
“I don’t think you should be… using your powers like this…” he slurred, “This early in the morning.” His eyes fluttered closed for a moment. “Also, why are you wrapped around me like this…? I don’t remember…”
The sound of a door creaking open. Footsteps, a pause, then a sharp giggle. Alister’s heart began to pound again, but even then, he didn’t rise. He wasn’t sure if he was even able to.
“Aliiiiiii,” the voice of his sister sang. “You look like you’re being naughty with Evan.” She laughed again. Though he couldn’t see her, he heard her walk up beside the bed.
“Shut up, El,” he moaned, “I’m not, he started it.”

Evan moved to sit up and rub his eyes when he heard Noel's voice, he mumbled something in the response before he heard her last response and ended up blushing.
"Noeeeellll-" He whined,
"look I don't remember how I got into alisters bed okay-" He then realized he was snuggling into alisters neck crease earlier and his eyes kinda went bug eyed.
He blushed as he the information set in.
"Alister aah I'm sorry- I must have sleep walked into your bed last night-" He spoke in a bit of a speedy tone.
He just moved to hide under the covers.

Quickly, Alister turned so he could face Evan, and buried himself under the covers with him. Noel only took a moment to sip her hot chocolate before ripping the covers off of them, causing goosebumps to break out on her brother’s skin.
“Whatever,” she said with a smirk. “But just so you know, the other lovebirds are making breakfast, and I don’t know about you, but I’m starving. Don’t stay up here making out all day or something.” She made a gagging noise, sticking out her tongue, before laughing and leaving the room.
After a few seconds, Alister pulled the covers over them again. “It’s okay,” he said, snuggling up to him again, “you’re cozy and warm anyway.” He pressed his face into the other boy’s chest, not really caring about how bold he was being for once. “Do you sleepwalk often?” His voice was muffled.

She wasn't doing half bad, she could be doing better but she could also being doing a lot worse.

Ignis looked at her work, he studied it and smiled, "French Toast? I've burned that several times, although I think I'm an exception." he planted a kiss on her head, "They look wonderful."

She blushed at the kiss, but enjoyed it non the less. Then sharing affection like this just made her feel bubbly inside and it was a weird feeling…and it hadn't gone away yet. She didn't want it to go away though…she liked it.
"Thanks..I hope they taste good." She moved to transfer them to a plate.

Evan jolted when the bed sheets were wripped off from them, and he moved to bury his face in alisters chest as he was granted with an unpleasant memory. He quickly tried to brush it off so he didn't ruin the light hearted mood.
He chuckled softly, stroking alisters head. "Well I'm glad that I'm cozy and warm, and no..I don't sleep walk that often. Though I haven't slept in a room with someone else in a long time."

He let out a breath as Evan stroked his head. “Oh. Well, I guess that makes sense? But I don’t think you have to be in a room with someone to sleepwalk.”
His mind drifted. Why does she think I’m going to make out with him every time we’re alone? he thought. Sure, this is nice, but I don’t think either of us want to go further. It’s too early for that anyway.
Though, this was more than just nice. He felt as if he could stay like this with Evan for hours, but he was a little afraid to admit it.
After a moment, he asked, “Um… are you hungry?”

"Ah, yeah your probably right about that.." He relaxed with him as he talked about that, he didn't exactly know what to talk about next but he didn't really want to get up.
He was comfortable where he was, why should he have to get up now?
He let out a soft exhale.
"I mean..not exactly? If I see food I will probably get hungry. I'm not hungry at the moment though.'

“Okay, just thought I’d ask,” Alister exhaled, his eyes fluttering closed. “Ah, I feel like falling asleep again. This is… really nice,” he admitted. He snuggled into Evan, their bodies close against each other. Everything was so warm and soft, how could they ever leave?

"So I'm guessing you aren't hungry then?" He chuckled softly, making sure the covers were covering them for a most part as they were snuggling on the bed.
They could wait a little while right?

Ignis sat by the table in patience. Perhaps the feeling of hunger overtook him when he finally began to question, "Well…I'm not quite sure whether I should check on them or decide to eat myself." Ignis flicked his wrist, and out came a wisp of fire. It danced around the food in an energetic matter. Ignis stood and began to walk back to the rooms, "Check on them it is."

On the way there, he would find Noel walking back, sipping from her hot chocolate. Looking up at him, she said, “Oh, hi Ignis. I don’t know if the boys are coming down, they looked pretty comfortable where they were.” She giggled, then continued into the kitchen.

“I guess not,” Alister replied. “Maybe I’m in the same boat as you.” He closed his eyes, loving the way Evan laughed. “But I mean… just let me know if this gets annoying or uncomfortable, and I’ll leave.”

Ignis smirked a little. Respecting their privacy, Ignis turned back to enjoy his breakfast. On his way back to the kitchen, he heard a faint laughter, unfamiliar. Without a second thought, he continued. Once he made it back, he smiled once more and sat down. He motioned Kali to do the same, "The boys seem to be staying in. I'm sure lunch will be waiting by the time they get up."

She snorted a little at what ignis said, "it seems they are rather enthralled by each other then?" She asked more towards Noel when she made it back to the table.
She moved to make sure ignis was sitting next to her when he came back, before eating her breakfast.

Noel sat down, a little farther away from the two, and grabbed a bit of food to put on a plate. “If ‘rather enthralled’ means snuggling together in the same bed, then yes,” she said bluntly. She dug into her breakfast, suddenly ravenous. Ignis and Kali have proven themselves to be amazing cooks, at least to Noel, who did not have much to compare to anyway.

Ignis became relaxed when Kali moved next to him, knowing that they were just as comfortable. The wisp that was warming the food faded. Ignis knew he had to tell everyone the truth, but he didn't like to repeat himself, so he kept silent until he managed to get everyone together. Ignis began to eat, making sure to try Kali's french toast first. He didn't exactly know why the instinct, but he was happy nonetheless, "You did a good job with the toast. I quite like it."

"You..think so? I thought I might have over done it but it's good that I didn't. This was my first time making it as you know."
She moved to try it herself, and her eyes lit up, "oh-" she didn't imagine it would actually taste good.
She figured he might have been lying for her sake.
"Oh wow.'

“I guess not,” Alister replied. “Maybe I’m in the same boat as you.” He closed his eyes, loving the way Evan laughed. “But I mean… just let me know if this gets annoying or uncomfortable, and I’ll leave.”

"I will, don't worry." He smiled at alister, before realizing his eyes were closed. He let himself melt in the presence of alister, relaxing.

Ignis smiled at her reaction. He felt her insecurity leave upon the first bite. Although the moment was bliss, his smile soon faded.

An echo filled his head, the sound of laughter. Mocking, spiteful. A laugh he couldn't recognize but a feeling he knew too well. Ignis closed his eyes, sensing the layout of the building. His expression troubled when he felt something…missing. A room hidden from his memory, a room deemed important.

Noel finished eating quickly. “Thank you Ignis, thank you Kali,” she said, because she knew it was something her brother would like her to say. She took her now empty dishes and brought them over to the sink to wash them, and did not really notice Ignis’s expression. Mostly she was preoccupied with wondering if she should go retrieve the boys again, because the food would get cold if they didn’t eat.

Ignis smiled at her reaction. He felt her insecurity leave upon the first bite. Although the moment was bliss, his smile soon faded.

"Everything alright ignis..?"
She looked at him, having stopped eating. She kinda didn't respond to Noel as she was focused on ignis.

Time returned to Ignis as he felt the warmth on his hand. He looked at Kali, his mind shaken, "Of course. I just have a few thoughts left on my mind. I still have to explain my powers to everyone or lack thereof."

"Okay…" She still had a slight worried look in her eyes as she squeezed his hand gently.
"Don't worry, I will be by your side to help you out. No more secrets."
