I mean, I live in a better area, but like, still. The weather sucks. There's a whole lot of nothing through the state. And we do have a serious Trumpie infestation.
However we did have a blue Georgia at the election lmaoooo

When I was going into the Adirondacks there was a house with a huge flag saying “you’re in Trump country now” and I think I became physical ill as I saw it

There were a few people in my neighborhood who had trump flags up, even well after the election.
Like the white suburban culture can be super icky. Think HOA Karens and people who are very casually racist and homophobic

new england is pretty tolerant as a rule, but there definitely was an influx of backwoods trumpies these past couple years. it's okay though, because it gave my friends the joy of taking people's trump merch after the election(for legal reasons, it wasn't stealing :D)

Zoos
Nasty. It smelled familiar but I blocked it out and now I have no idea what it was

Ik this isn't what this chat about, but I love zoos. Mostly because it's the easiest place to find primates.

Monkeys scary
I'm just there for the various types of bears

I'm there for the small mammals, birds, frogs, and turtles
And honestly anything besides spiders and stuff

I'm there because I'm dragged

I was just at the zoo

I just went to the Reptile Gardens in SD

saw many snakes

and a giant tortoise named Orville

and a scorpion bigger than my head

The St. Louis zoo is super cool, it's been years since I've been there but I remember it being amazing
The Knoxville one is also super cool

I've been to the zoos in Atlanta, Jacksonville (iirc? It was definitely in Florida), and one in North Carolina, I think in the Raleigh area, and they were all pretty neat. Atlanta was definitely the best though. They've got pandas :')
Also I really love zoos that are like wildlife native to the area, that actually are more like wildlife preserves.

I went to the San Diego zoo a few years ago and it's very neat

The local one we have here in Boise is absolute trash though

I definitely hated BTS with like a burning passion now I just listen to a few songs here and there

Oof, hearing "BTS" sets off my fight or flight response. Music's fine. A lot of the diehard fanbase is not.
I had a friend whose whole personality became liking BTS and it was gross. Not to mention fans like her and others who get weird and fetishy and call the band members their "babies" or ship them together or things like that.
