Damien felt weirdly inclined to move closer, to put an arm around Eric or something. But Eric might not like that, so he stayed where he was.

Eric bit his lip, slowly standing up. "I should get going. John'll worry."

Damien leaned forward, reaching out to grab Eric’s hand. “Stay here,” he said, surprising himself. “You can call John and tell him my address.” I want to make sure you’re okay, too…

"Are-are you sure?" He asked quietly, a little surprised. Why would he want me to stay?

“Yeah,” Damien answers, just as soft. “You really helped me, I’d be a dick to make you leave this late.” And I don’t like that you’re hiding something

"It's nothing, really." He said, blushing.

“C’mon, dude,” Damien insisted gently. “Stay over, then we can call it even, ‘kay?”

"…Okay." He relented, sighing softly. "If you really insist."

Damien smiled. why am I so happy about this?
Getting up slowly, making sure he wasn’t still to groggy, he looked over at Eric. “You can take my bed, don’t worry it’s clean,” he said.

"Oh, no, it's fine, I can take the couch." He said, shaking his head. "You already had a rough night, I'm not taking your bed."

Damien shook his head back. “Nope. You’re technically a guest, i insisted you stay, i’m not making you sleep on the couch,” he said. “Besides, I like my couch, there’s a great view of the kitchen.”

"Are you sure? I swear, I'm perfectly fine taking the couch." He said, biting his lip again.

“Dude, just sleep in the bed, i’ll be fine,” Damien said with a small smile.

"If you're sure." He said, deciding he didn't feel like carrying on the argument. Also why does he have to be cute AND ALSO WHY DO I THINK HE'S CUTE STOP IT BRAIN-

Damien nodded and led Eric to his room

“I’ll just grab a pillow and blanket,” he said, trying to sound normal. “Bathroom’s over there, let me know if you need anything”

Eric blushed slightly. "Thanks…" He said, a little awkwardly. I'M IN HIS ROOM??????? AAAAAA?

Damien went over to his bed, reaching to grab his stuff, heart beating erratically. Nothings going to happen, you need to chill. Turning back to Eric, he saw the other’s light blush. is he..? no way

"Seriously, are you sure?" He asked again, partially just to break the quiet.

Now Damien rolled his eyes with a huff. “Dude. Unless you want to share the bed, I’ll take the couch, I’m not letting you sleep out there.”
I mean, I wouldn’t be opposed… what am i thinking?!

"Okay, okay, I get your point…" He mumbled, holding his hands up in surrender. I really hate that I wouldn't complain-

Damien was almost disappointed, but not surprised. Going back out to the couch he tossed his stuff down. Shit, i really need to change clothes… “Hey, do you want something to sleep in?”

"I'm fine in this." He said, blushing slightly as he shrugged his leather jacket off.

Damien shrugged. “Suit yourself,” he said, going to his dresser and pulling out a pair of sweats. He quickly shucked off his dirty shirt and jeans and tugged on the sweatpants. “Feel free to grab something if you change your mind.”

Eric looked away to give him some privacy, nodding slightly. "Alright."
