The hybrid princess smiled.

"I don't mean to alarm you guys," a disheveled Decay said in panic, "but I think we've got a situation!"

The hybrid's head jolted up. "What is it?" She said, her tail thrashing.

"I don't know how, " she said as she bit her tongue, "but I heard Chameleon talking with Scarlet about 'what to do with the scavenger and the Icewing' and I think it may involve animus magic!"
