Raz leaned into his husband and shook his head with a smile. "That's very debatable my love, If anything you're more stunning than anything we could possibly find here." He pressed a kiss to Jay's cheek looked into the water, seeing small fish and the pearly whites sands beneath
"Oh come on, don't flatter me." He rolled his eyes with a smile. "It's beautiful out here, isn't it?"
"and why not? I only speak the absolute truth." He smiled up at his husband and nodded "it really is. Something straight out of a dream."
"Well I am delighted to inform you that this is not a dream. You're here with me on our honeymoon."
"that's absolutely amazing." He murmured softly, lacing their hands together and watching the water tug at them.
Jay kept him close, letting the water tug at him.
"you know, they're is one thing I do want to try." He mused, pulling away from Jay and hesitantly lowering into the water and trying to go onto his back to float
Jay couldn't help but laugh, moving in the water to help Raz out. "What, trying to become a human seastar?"
"no I just want to float, I've always tried but for some reason i just sink and I freak out." He explained, taking a few deep breaths before leaning back and trying to balance himself out
"Well, you need to relax, when you're all stiff you're heavy." He placed his hands on Raz's back, tilting him to even him out. "I'll be right here to catch you if you do actually sink."
He sighed softly and nodded, trying his best do as Jay suggested and relax his body. A few times when he found himself sink too far for comfort, he paniced and grasped at Jay, wrapping his arms around Jay's neck before trying again
Jay just stayed calm, smiling in amusement as he tried to talk Raz through floating so he wouldn't panic.
"you know I'd be more inclined to listen to you if there wasn't a huge smirk plastered on your handsome face." Raz muttered with a some of his own as he tried his best to keep himself omfrom stiffening and sinking further into the water.
"Ah come on love, you can't blame me when your focused face is so cute." He laughed, flashing an innocent smile.
"it is not." He whined softly, sticking his tongue out childishly. He spread his arms out a bit to better stabilize himself "somehow I don't think I was made fir the water." He joked lightly
"No, what gave you that idea?" Jay teased with a laugh.
"let's see, Everytime you let go, I sink. Somehow I think theovean has it out for me." He sighed softly and tilted his head back, trying to adjust his positioning so he'd float
"Yes because the ocean is sentient and can have a vendetta against certain people. Very logical my love." Jay rolled his eyes with a smile.
"yes, yes it is." He nodded and closed his eyes as he relaxed into the water, letting it lap over him as he attempted to float without Jay's help
Jay watched him closely, standing at the ready to catch Raz if he started to sink.
Raz floated a for a about 30 before daring to open his eyes. "Ha! I'm.doing it!" He triumphantly said, looking up the sky with a smile. He tried to look up at Jay but the moment he picked his head up, he sunk back into the water, again grasping for Jay "aw, I had it for a bit."
"Yes, you had it, I'm proud of you." He laughed, bending down and kissing his forehead.
Raz sighed and leaned into Jay. "Thanks but I think this is enough floating for today." He laughed and pressed a kiss to Jay's cheek.
"Well, I'm proud of you for trying it then." Jay snuggled Raz close with a proud smile.
Raz giggled lightly and returned the gentle nuzzling. "Wanna stay and explore some more? There has to be around here than just water." He mused, looking around a bit
"Ooo, yes please. Coolest find gets to pick where we go for dinner." He challenged with a grin.
"deal! Meet up at the beach in the twenty?" He asked, reaching up and pressing a kiss to Jay's cheek. He was excited to explore the beach more. The dinner was nice but he'd honestly be fine with anything Jay chose
"You're on!" He pressed a sweet kiss to Raz's lips before diving into the water to go searching.
Raz laughed and returned the kiss before heading back towards the shallow end. He headed towards the rocky area on the expansive beach, knowing jed most lilely find some animals or at least variety in shells and rocks. Raz carefully picked his way through the rocky alcoves and ceouched by a few tidal pools, gentlh poking at the small crabs that had curiously poked out from theor sandy burrows
Jay checked further out, staying under the water as he watched the sea floor come alive with activity.
