I HAVE A WHOLE SCENARIO SET UPSo, a new person joins the smp, appearing from nowhere. They look a bit odd, and act strange. They're very cheery but seem a bit off… Harmless though.
That is, untill, one day Dream randomly vanishes from the prison. No visible breakouts, nothing. But the night after, a select few get a message at their door inviting them to an "Auction" with a book simply signed "Your Auctioneer"
They all go to the auction and see a bunch of valued items and a covered cage. My character's invis pot wears off and they show up on stage, waving to them all and giving a flourish.
"Welcome to my little auction! Today's top item is…" And they pull the cover off of the cage, revealing a bloody Dream. "Dream and all of his knowledge! Let's start the bidding, shall we!"

OKAY so mine starts with a normal 16-year-old girl, she doesn't have a mic and her text chat is written in gibberish. Over time, though talking to people like Karl and Sam, she learns keywords and can hold up a few conversations. Also, I should probably mention her skin is an all-black being with 2 white eyes taking up her face, not related to and enderman though. She starts disappearing for long amounts of time, only coming back to discuss things with Ranboo and Sam. Shes caught one day outside the badlands, talking to someone who cant be seen. Its not an invis pot, there's just no one there. She's speaking in gibberish again, a few English words like "House." and "the flowers" are scattered in there, eventually, she leaves calmly, to which the person follows her secretly to a large, non-descript building in the mountains. the person enters to see what looks like the inside of a hospital room, complete with a bed, IV and even a balcony. They step on the balcony and stare off in the distance for a while, then turning around to come face to face with her.
"You're not supposed to be here." is written in clear English in the chat, as her character stands unmoving. she pulls out an axe and strikes down on the person, sending back to the main smp and stealing their stuff. in the corner, a familiar message pops up, one that makes Karl stop his building on the other side of the map,
"Don't stray from the path."

This is random but the fun part about influencers is they really are out there influencing the world and stuff.
My sister is in middle school and her and her friend group have all assigned characters for each other. Her friends call her 'Bad' because she yells at them for swearing, and she calls them characters from the SMP that they behave like. From an outsider's point of view, it's amazing.
I think about that sometimes. Like do these random nerds who record videos of them being overdramatic and having fun even know the impact they have? What would they think about this random middle schooler group calling each other by their character names? Just some food for thought.
