Renee pulled out a sketchbook and looked up at the pair in front of her. Grabbing a pencil and an eraser she began to sketch them out, her gaze occasionally flicking up to make sure that she got their facial features right. No. Make the shoulders wider. God, why can I not get the hands right today? Renee furrowed her brow slightly and bit her bottom lip as she focused on drawing the two.
Elijah sat down next to Alexis in the cafe. "You got food without me? I'm offended." He said, pretending to be shocked.
Alexis giggled, then winced slightly. "Sorry. I was just on a walk and I ended up here." She took a bit of her food.
"I can't get the image of you freaking out over turtles out of my head," Elijah said, wishing he had coffee.
(I'm here but I have to write a speech so, I'm not really on…)
(Alright, halfway through season three. I have 10 hours and 6 minutes to watch the rest of it)
(Only have to figure out a plan on how to fix a whole country filled with Hunger and Poverty.)
"I can't get the image of you freaking out over turtles out of my head," Elijah said, wishing he had coffee.
"But turtles are so cute. Did you expect me not to freak out over them?" She asked, passing him her coffee.
Izuki was silent as he worked, greeting people as they came in with a warm smile, only to have it drop as quickly as it came. He lets out a tired sigh. He had barely any sleep last night and he was obviously tired. He takes a quick break, chugging some coffee and then returning to work. He sighs, pressing his uniform down gently, so he wouldn't crinkle it, and tightens his ponytail. He hums, rolling his sleeves up and nodding slowly.
(I either need @Meow or @Jensen-rs to be on, cause I want another soulmate to meet.)
(Mew, I'm kind of here… but also trying to fix a country and write a speech abt it…)
Estel had decided that it would be best to take a break and get a snack at the cafe nearby. She had never been, but she had heard the great reviews about it and thought to give it a chance. She packed up her things and headed over, her sleeves rolled up. When she had entered, a man, it looked at those he had the same tattoo as her, but that couldn't be. She turned red when he looked her way.
Izuki felt as though someone was looking at him. He turned his head and there she was. he looked down at his tattoo then at his. His mouth was gaping open in disbelief.
(Aaaaaaaand proceed)
Izuki clears his throat, his eyes traveling to the girl. He looks down, nervous before slowly looking at his wrist and at the girl. He takes a breath and nods to himself, "Excuse me miss?" He calls out after a second, walking towards her.
"I can't get the image of you freaking out over turtles out of my head," Elijah said, wishing he had coffee.
"But turtles are so cute. Did you expect me not to freak out over them?" She asked, passing him her coffee.
Elijah took a sip. "Doesn't drinking from the same cup cause diseases?" He asked, changing the subject.
"I'm not sick if that's what you're worried about." SHe sighed. "Do you want me to buy you a coffee?"
"Aw, you're so nice to me. Don't add anything to it; I like it black. Like my soul." Elijah said, handing back her cup.
She took back her drink. She set it down. "Yeah, yeah, whatever." She got up and ordered him his coffee.
"Thank you," He called out to her, sitting back in his chair. He took out his phone and checked the time. It would take him half an hour to get to the studio, he had around an hour to kill.
She rolled her eyes. SHe came back with his coffee and set it in front of him. She sat down and nibbled on her toast.
"So…. how's the hangover?" He asked, taking a sip.
"Getting better." She sipped from her coffee and nibbled on her food. "Its not fair you don't have one."
"No, what's not fair is that I didn't hook up with the waiter last night." Elijah said. He leaned back in his chair. "I don't understand people who refuse to date anyone who's not their soulmate. I mean, no offense, but you're not going to have any experience in relationships."
She rolled her eyes. "Everyone has different views on it. Not everyone wants to go and have relationships and have sex with others. That's just how people are."
"Well, people are difficult. Anyway, do you know how many paintings you sold?" Elijah asked, taking another sip.
She sighed and rolled her eyes. "You're difficult." She set down her empty cup. "At least half, maybe more."
"So we're splitting the money, right? Like, you get half of it for the actual painting and stuff, and I get the other half for… emotional support." Elijah said, waving his hands in the air like a madman.
She raised an eyebrow. "Why shoild I split the money with You? Did you help make any of my art pieces?"
