He nodded a little. "Yeah, I guess so."
He nodded a little. "Yeah, I guess so."
Derlik sat up, thinking.
"Good, then, I'll go make some."
He nodded again, leaning back on his hands.
Derlik stood, looking down at Nik a moment.
"I'll be back soon with some food." So, he left into the trees, pulling Arthur out of his pocket once he was out of sight.
Nik nodded again. "Okay."
Arthur shuddered as he was pulled from Derlik's pocket, whimpering faintly.
"What's wrong?" Derlik asked, sneering some. "You forget how loud you were being earlier? You're lucky Nik didn't spot you." The god flicked Arthur's head, too hard as he felt bone crack.
Arthur shrieked with pain, flinching and whimpering.
"Asshat," Derlik mumbled. He held Arthur in one hand, motioning for a minor god to come up.
"Go make some waffles or some shit," he said. He hadn't cooked a day in his life, and he didn't plan on it. He turned back to Arthur, holding the man up high in the air.
Arthur whined in fear, trembling and shaking.
"Week are you going to learn your place?" Derlik said, looking up at Arthur. "You don't make a sound without permission."
Arthur let out a choked whine. He really tried not to make noise, he did, but he couldn't help it.
Derlik narrowed his eyes.
"What did I just say?!"
He bit his tongue, trying to stay quiet. His breath sawed in and out of his chest with fear.
"Good doll," Derlik purred when Arthur finally managed to stop making so much noise. He lowered Arthur onto his palm, glaring down at him.
Arthur flinched, swallowing hard, breath still wheezing a little because of how scared he was.
Derlik moved his thumb under Arthur's chin, tilting it up.
"I would suggest getting a control on your breathing," the god said, "Before I take the problem away."
Arthur bit his tongue, doing his best to calm down. Really, really trying to be quiet and calm.
"Good boy," Derlik cooed again. "The next time I hear a sound out of you without permission you're going to be severely punished, understood?"
He closed his eyes tightly, forcing a desperate nod.
Derlik smirked some, looking over as he saw the breakfast he had ordered being brought over. He looked back to Arthur, his newest, devilish idea showing in his eyes.
"Let's make you useful, shall we?"
Arthur held back a whimper, eyes going wide as he stared up at Derlik.
Derlik thought a moment, then touched his thumb to Arthur's cheek- and was soon holding a brand new fork in his hand. He set him- it, on one of the plates, heading back to Nik.
Arthur closed his eyes as he was turned into a fork.
Derlik moved to sit down on the boulder with Nik, offering him a plate.
"Waffles?" He said, smiling slightly as he set his own plate on his lap. He picked up his fork, turning it over in his hand once.
Nik took the plate. "Thanks. Is there, uhm, toppings?" He asked with a faint smile, looking up at Derlik.
"I can get some, yeah," Derlik said, nodding. "What would you like?"
"Peanut butter and maple syrup? Please?" He asked, looking up at Derlik.
"Kay then!" Derlik stood, setting his plate down to go get the toppings.
Nik was quiet, waiting.
Derlik eventually came back with the two toppings, humming some.
"Here you go!"
