izuku shrugged. " i just gotta hide from the reporters.." he said. once they got there the smaller went in as a negotiator, feeling that he could talk the villian to stop what he was doing and surrender. " look im not a cop. and i wont use my quirk on you. " he reasoned.
The villain was a woman with a smaller build, she looked normal. It didn't look like she had a quirk, but looks could be decieving. She narrowed her eyes and backed up, hissing at Izuku. Todoroki stayed outside in case the criminal tried to run.
izuku looked at her " look i know how it feels to be quirkless. if thats why your doing this." he paused " stop this now, and we can walk out of her unharmed."
"Who said I was quirkless??" She snapped, as she talked a long, forked tongue flicked in her mouth. She then tackled Izuku, opening her mouth to reveal two large fangs.
Todoroki saw this and ran in, quickly restraining the girl with his ice.
izuku alomst jumped out of his skin when she attacked him. " i.. im sorry lady." izuku rubbed his wrists. that looked like they'd bruise from the ladies grip.
Todoroki helped Izuku up, picking the girl up after. "You okay?" He asked as he walked with him out of the bank, handing the girl over to the authorities there.
" yeah, fine. " he said masking the fear in his voice. the smaller had never been in a situation that escalated that fast.
Todoroki knew Izuku too well to know he was 'fine', just by the fake tone. "You did well," He says gently, putting a hand on the boy's shoulder in a friendly manner.
izuku smiled softly. " thanks." though the moment of calm didnt last long. producers hero loggers and news peoples. the smaller felt like he needed to get out of their.
Todoroki sighed heavily. "Excuse me, but we need to get through! We have to continue our parol!" he yells to them, pushing past with Izuku.
izuku hid behind todoroki, though he was third on the hero list, he never really did like big crowds. he knew he'd be on the local news for what the two did here, that meant that the other would see it too.
Bakuho was, in fact, watching the news. He saw Izuku on the screen and smiled a little, glad he was safe. Inko then came over to Bakugo. "Kasuki, are you alright? You haven't been up much." She asked worriedly. Bakugo looked over at her. "I'm fine Inko." He explains a few things to her, including his pregnancy. That's when Izuku got a call.
" h..hello?" he asked not really haveing time to look at the collar ID.
"Izuku why didn't you tell me you were having a baby?!" Inko's voice squealed with excitement on the other end, she didn't seem to be bothered by the information in the slightest.
izuku sighed. " i compleatly spaced it mom. sorry. also all-might is coming over for supper. " he said
"Oh, he's coming over? Okay! But congratulations Izu honey! Katsuki just told me about it!" Inko replied, still sounding excited but a bit more calm.
izuku flushed at the cheeks " thanks mom." god he was glad she didnt start yelling at him. he also didnt think it compleatly sunk in with her yet.
Inko then went quiet. “..Wait.”
izuku hung up the phone and kept walking behind todoroki, rubbing his wrists. memories flashed in his head of aven. he didnt understand why but when he black lined it brought up a few memories he tried to forget. " i.. i gatta go." he said to todoroki. his voice was shaky.
Todoroki tilted his head some. “Hey, Midoriya, are you alright?”
Izuku didn’t really look at him “ yeah.. just gotta take a break” he said.
Todoroki nodded some. “You need to go see Bakugo?” He asks.
Izuku nodded slightly. He looked down at the ground. “ can I leave you or do you need me to wait?”
“I’ll be okay. You go ahead and go home for a bit.” Todoroki replied.
“ okay. “ Izuku said and started walking home. He hated leaveing but these memories…. they where bugging him. Just like they did when denki helped Izuku getaway from Aven in the first place. Maybe it was Aven returning that made the memories come back.
Bakugo had tried to get up multiple times but Inko wasn’t allowing it, insisting that he rest. He sighed heavily after being sat down for what felt like the millionth time, leaning on his hand on the arm of the couch and huffing lightly.
Izuku walked in, not noticing the other on the couch. He had left his wrists exposed so that way they didn’t hurt from his gloves.
Bakugo saw Izuku walk in and perked up some. “Hey, Zuku! How was-“ he saw the shorter boy’s wrists and stopped in the middle of his sentence.
Izuku looked up almost immediately, he pulled his gloves back on wincing slightly. “ h.. hey kachan, “ he said with a slight smile.
Bakugo got up even if he knew Inko wouldn’t like it, going over to Izuku and pulling off the gloves. “ ‘Zuku, what happened to your hands?”
