@ElderGod-Icefire
He leaned into the touch, closing his eyes and letting out a soft sigh.
He leaned into the touch, closing his eyes and letting out a soft sigh.
He smiled at the other and hummed before shutting his eyes again. This was nice actually.
(skdhfbgjfhb shutting his peepers what the fuckkkk)
He liked being able to just snuggle up with him, quiet and peaceful like this.
(Bruuuuuh)
At some point, Victor was pretty sure he was dozing off, in that peaceful realm that rested right between asleep and awake.
Jared didn't fall asleep, but didn't really move around much either.
Victor at one point forced himself awake. "Why don't we go and have some breakfast?" His voice was warm and gravelly, still heavy from the fact that he had almost fallen asleep.
Jared opened his eyes, blinking up at Victor. "Oh. Uhm. Alright." He said softly.
Victor nods and smiles softly at the other. "Unless you want to stay here?" He offered if the other didn't want to move he wasn't complaining. He just figured Jared should probably eat something.
Jared shrugged faintly. "I…I don't know." he said quietly.
Victor nods, "Or we can compromise and I bring breakfast to bed?" He chuckles softly, trying to see Jared smile a little.
He smiled very faintly. "That might work."
He nods and gently brushes some hair from Jared's face. "Alright. I'll go make some food." He murmured quietly.
Jared nodded, letting go of him so he could get up. "Okay. Thank you."
Victor slowly stands and smiles softly at the other. "Just relax." He wanders to the kitchen and starts on breakfast.
He shrugged a little, watching Victor leave.
After a bit, Victor returned with breakfast. He offers a kind smile and hands Jared the plate of food while he settles back into the bed.
Jared sat up, taking the plate. "Thank you." he said softly.
"Of course." He murmured softly, a gentle smile on his lips as he grabbed a book from the bedside table as the other ate.
Jared ate quietly, not really talking while he ate.
Victor read quietly, keeping close to Jared in case of comfort and assurance. He wanted to help where he could.
(gtg now, sorry. Goodnight!)
Jared finished his food eventually, putting the plate on the bedside table.
Victor quietly turned a page in his book before marking it and putting it away. He glances at Jared and his eyes soften. "How was breakfast?"
"It was good. Thank you." He replied softly, looking over at Victor.
Victor nods and smiles. "Of course. I'm glad you enjoyed it." His voice was soft and warm. "Would you like to rest?" He asks softly.
He smiled faintly. "I…I guess so."
He nods and paused before gently pulling Jared into his lap and ran a hand through Jared's hair.
He froze for a moment, uncertain about what this meant, what exactly Victor was doing.
Victor didn't do much else, just held Jared in his arms as he read quietly. His eyes were soft as he read, his hand absently running through Jared's hair.
Jared was still and silent for a little longer, then slowly leaned back against Victor, letting out a quiet breath.
Victor smiled faintly when he felt the other relax against him, turning the page casually in his book. His breathing was slow and steady, his heart a rhythmic pace against his chest, all was peaceful… For now and least.
