Warning: animal death.

I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure that she lived a great life, and took comfort from the fact that you loved her to the end. Losing a loved one is never easy. Take solace in knowing that she's not in pain and that you gave her the best life she could have. Someday you'll get to see her again. Again, sorry for your loss.

Thanks.

She was almost fifteen, which is a good long run for a cat. But I still wish I could have at least given her an easy out.

I've been in a toxic family for a while… and I'm planning on trying to talk my mother into letting me momentarily live with a friend over the summer…. I'm terrified that she'll cause a scene and make everything worse… but until I can legally move out for good this is my only choice.

Very slowly. After all, there were 3 dams that breached/failed. Ours, unfortunately, is at the lowest point so we get a long wait for the other two to be repaired.

As for the town itself… it's still a heartbreaking eyesore. However, there are a few businesses that have been and/ or are being remodeled: the local Eagles club; the hardware store; a beauty salon; the post office; and a locally owned restaurant that will be staying in town. The other restaurants had no choice but to relocate to the mall, which is about 30 minutes away. The major losses are obviously the lake, the park, and the restaurants that had to relocate.

EDIT: Your the first person on here that's asked for an update! I wish I had more to say…. Oh wait, I forgot that there is a concept diagram for the park!
