Skye started to think of a plan. Of what to say and do when the time was right. (sHE WILL AVENGE THE SMOL CHILD YESSSS SHE WILL.)

"So, what is Sectumsempra? I don't think I've heard of it before."

“It’s a curse.” Skye said bitterly.

"What's it do?" Nolan looked at bandages, which were beginning to get spots of blood soaking through.

“It cuts.”

"Cuts?" He could hear some yelling outside the door, presumably directed towards Tyler. "In what way? Is it deadly?"

"I know a basic healing spell… Professor Snape taught it to me…" Xavier says softly, "But Madam Pomfrey should already know the spell…"

"She probably already used it, knowing her. The spell can't break through my sternum, can it?"

"It heals all blemishes and cuts on the outer layers of the skin…" He blinks, thinking.

"No, the… Sectumsempra, thing. I suppose it's more of a curse though, isn't it?"

"Yes, it is. A really awful curse to use on a first year. He should be expelled for that." Xavier shakes his head sadly.

"Well, he's only a second year, so they'll probably go easy on him. Not sure where he would've learned it, though."

"Probably detention for a good few months." Xavier huffs.

"Or suspension. Or both. I dunno what kind of punishments you guys have here."

"Many." Xavier says bitterly. "He's probably going to go into the forbidden forest with Hagrid."

"The Forbidden Forest? But… well, it's forbidden! Wouldn't that be breaking school rules?"

"Not as punishment. I had to go once." He says, shrugging. He had only been a witness, but he got in trouble all the same.

"Really? I think it'd be quite interesting in there, actually. I like Hagrid, and there's lots of cool animals in there, right?"

"Cool as well as dangerous." Xavier answers.

"What all's dangerous in there? Surely you couldn't be in danger with Hagrid around?"

"not really. Hagrid is a good man." He shrugs. "It's only if you get separated."

"Well, Hagrid's pretty hard to lose, isn't he?" Nolan laughed. "You could see him pretty well from wherever you are."

"Not really. I lost him once, got attacked…" he rolls his eyes, "In the woods you can easily get lost."

"Hmm… what attacked you? Not a werewolf, right?" Nolan gasped. "People are always talking about there being werewolves in the forest."

"No, no. Banshee. Lost some hearing for a while. But I'm fine."

"What's a banshee? I haven't learned about those yet. Then again, I haven't learned much of anything yet. I got injured during my first ever class."

“It’s basically a crying dead woman, its cries are fatal to your ears.” Skye explained.

"Oh… I thought that was Mandrakes? Or does everything try to kill you here?"

"Everything tries to kill you if you mess with it." Xavier says chuckling. "Lost hearing for three days. Drove the teachers mad."

"That's… unfortunate. an Sectumsempra kill you? Or is it not that bad? Is it illegal?"

"Sectumsempra can't exactly kill you, unless you die of blood loss." he explains. "And I'm not sure if it's legal or not. I know Crucio isn't allowed."
