LEVI: "Them and whomever else has gone missing." [Looks downcast as he gets into the Impala.]

DEAN: "We're gonna have to scout out the park at some point."

SAM: [Looking at some of the drawings.] "Well, that's disturbing…. Nadia drew someone getting disemboweled."

@SupernaturalSyGuyIsTIred group

LEVI: "Yeah."

SAM: [Still looking at the drawings. Frowns.] "Hangings, slit wrists, skulls…. Seems she had a fixation on death."

DEAN: "Well, there's more than one way that that can't be a good thing."

SAM: "Especially in our version of the world."

LEVI: [Looks at the time.] "We have time to go talk to people at the dinner, or we could track down the boyfriend."

[Some time later they're seated in another living room. Kevin Bartok has offered them drinks of lemonade. He's a relatively plain-looking yet attractive young man with hazel eyes and dirty blond hair the color of sand.]

KEVIN: "I know that this is about Nadia. I've already talked to the police."

KEVIN: [Takes a drink of his own lemonade, which soothes the lump in his throat.]

[The Winchesters have decided to let Harriet ask the questions. Levi's confident in her, but Sam and Dean are interested in seeing how she'll handle things.]

HARRIET: “Now, when we spoke with Ms. Porter, she said that Ms. Stone didn't have any enemies… Aside from the men involved with the “hot coffee” incident at her job. Is there anything that she may have left out?”

KEVIN: [Thinks back to the incident.] "One of the guys, I think his name was Finn, threatened to 'come stab you while you sleep.' I took care of him by breaking his wrist. There's a police file on it if you want to look into that any further."

DEAN: "I think you did the right thing by breaking the guy's wrist."

@SupernaturalSyGuyIsTIred group

KEVIN: [Silent for a moment.] "She always made fun of Nadia for being in 'special education', teased her about chewing her nails, and even mocked how Nadia would pronounce certain words…. She's not a nice person."

LEVI: [Sighs and becomes downcast.] I unfortunately know what that's like. It makes you self-conscious and feel terrible about yourself.

@SupernaturalSyGuyIsTIred group

KEVIN: "I don't actually think that she'd do something to Nadia though. The way I see it you should look at Finn."

LEVI: "I can assure you that we'll be taking a look at him, Mr. Bartok."

KEVIN: [Smiles slightly.] "He was pissed when I broke his wrist."

HARRIET: This guy Finn does seem more of a likely suspect than Margot… But I'm thinking too much like a cop. “Now, Mr. Bartok, do you recall anything… unusual or out of the ordinary happening either before these disappearances started or some time after?”

@SupernaturalSyGuyIsTIred group

KEVIN: [Takes a drink of lemonade and chuckles.] "For a moment there I thought that you were going to ask me if I smelled sulfur or something. Like what the guys in the Supernatural books ask." [Chuckles again.] "Not really anything that I can think of. Although Nadia did mention that someone seemed to be stalking her; I bought her a can of pepper spray just in case." [Slumps forward.] "Much good that did." [Mumbled the last portion.]

[The Winchesters briefly stiffen at the mention of the books, but Kevin doesn't seem to notice.]

DEAN: Fucking Chuck Shurley and those damn books!

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

HARRIET: [raises a brow slightly] I think I'm starting to see why the guys are so annoyed by those books… “Mr. Bartok…” [she keeps her voice calm though there is a small note of disapproval] “As amusing as that comparison is, unfortunately, this is the real world and a very serious case. Not some flight of fancy written by a person who spends too much time researching the occult and twisting legitimate questions into fiction.”
