Hey yall! It's been a hot minute since I posted, and surprisingly it isn't going to be a drawing! I've taken up crocheting, and in the past two days have made a frog, jellyfish, and mushroom!
Also, I have some clip on earing clips at home, and I'm wondering if I should make a second mushie and make them into earrings. Thoughts?

@Randomguyonline

Here's a dumb little experimentation piece, the drawing's kinda bad but I mostly wanted to create something based off of 3 drawing/artists I saw recently.

  • One that played with high saturation backgrounds, dark sketchy lines and working only with the silhouette and then detailing and/or darkening only the areas of focus.
  • Then another one that used those really rough and organic looking brushes.
  • And lastly one that used halftoning in the shading like their life depended on it.

Anyways, it isn't my best piece in terms of anatomy and yadda yadda but I really like the funky composition, I plan on introducing some frames in this hypersaturated, sillhouette-based, crispy style in the middle of some animations, quite like the Pop-Art frames in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse movie. I hope you enjoy since I don't really plan on posting this anywhere else :)

(also, ignore the damn legs because I TRIED using my BodyKun for the first time but he doesn't bend that far and I couldn't find ONE, SINGLE, SINGULAR, ONLY, MERE, UNITARY REFERENCE. ONE. JUST ONE, GOOGLE. IS IT TOO MUCH. IS IT.)

It's been a really long time since I've done digital art, but I finally got some inspiration so here's my character Andor in his natural habitat.
