Bakugo had just arrived and only saw Izuku for now, rushing over to him and seeing the blood on his face. "What happened?? Are you okay?" He questioned, wiping the blood from his boyfriend's face. The kid saw Bakugo and his eyes widened, and he backed up some. He was a taller statured, bigger man, and had startled the child without realizing, who ran off.
“ kid!” Izuku looked to bakugo quickly and ran after the kid. “ hey! That’s my partner.” Izuku said snagging the kid by the wrist “ that’s my partner with the explosions, he can help!” Izuku said looked down at the kid.
He struggled against Izuku's grip, and was going to use another explosion but winced, not doing it. It seemed he'd reached his limit. Bakugo seemed confused, walking over. "What's going on?"
“ his quirk is over used, he’s got explosions like you. For some reason he’s scared and won’t tell me..”
Bakugo hummed and knelt down, motioning for Izuku to let go of the child. "You won't help the situation by holding onto him like that."
Izuku nodded, letting go. “ I need to sit down,” Izuku said suddenly feeling lightheaded. Almost imeadiatly Izuku fell to his knees
Bakugo glanced at him and held him close so he wouldn't fall over. "Kid, we're heroes. We won't hurt you, we just wanna help. What's your name? Do you have parents we can call?" He asks the boy gently. He fidgeted with his hands a moment. "A-Alex… A-and…" He stayed quiet a moment. "They took them…" Bakugo raised an eyebrow. "Who's they?" Alex flinched at that, shaking his head.
Izuku looked to the kid “ he wouldn’t happen to call himself aven or the boogie man?” Izuku said ( crazy ex :3)
Alex's pupils shrank a bit at that, but he didn't say anything. Bakugo gave Izuku a confused stare.
“ look, I’m his arch enemy, “Izuku continued “ I know where he is, I’m going to find your family, promise!” Izuku said holding out his pinky finger. He put on a smile to calm the kid.
“ now.. you need to let my partner here, his name is kachan, take care of you. I’ll be right back” Izuku said, taking a deep breath to stabilize the spinning in his head. Izuku got stood up.
Bakugo looked over at Izuku. "Hey, I'm not letting you go alone."
“ kachan, please” Izuku said. He wiped some of the blood off his head, “ I need to find recovery girl before I pass out..” Izuku said lowering his voice so the kid could bearly hear.
Bakugo heard that and sighed, nodding. "But come back when you're healed. Please."
Izuku nodded walking over to recovery girl, “ c..can you heal me..” Izuku said sitting down.
Recovery girl walked over, sighing some and shaking her head. "You're always getting yourself into some sort of trouble Midoriya…" She muttered, kissing his forehead a moment to heal him.
“ yeah yeah, I know. Atleast it’s not a bone this time” he said with a laugh and going over to bakugo.
Izuku stood next to bakugo “ has he said anything els?”
Bakugo glanced at Izuku, nodding some. "He told me a bit about his quirk, and I got him to tell me about his mom and dad." He stood again, since he was kneeling to Alex's level this whole time.
Izuku looked to the kid, “ I texted boss and got permission to work on the case even after my shift is done..” Izuku said “ but for now we need to get Alex to safety”
Bakugo sighed some. "You need to get Alex to safety. I left my post to come here, and I'll get in trouble if I'm not back soon." He said softly, pecking Izuku's lips once. "Just ping me if anything, I mean anything goes wrong. Okay?"
“ okay..” Izuku said, Izuku knelt down to Alex’s level “ wanna come with me, I can protect you from him “ Izuku said. Izuku gave a reassuring smile.
Alex hesitated a moment, then nodded. Bakugo knelt back down to the kid for a second. "Hey, if this nerd bugs you, let me know so I can give it to him later, 'kay?" He joked, making Alex giggle and nod again. The taller then stood and left, heading back to his sector.
Izuku stuck his tounge out at bakugo, “ do you want me to hold you or does it not hurt that bad.. “ Izuku said softly to the kid.Izuku held out his arms to the kid
Bakugo walked back to his sector after sticking his tongue back out at Izuku. Alex shook his head. "I'm not a baby… I don't need to be carried."
“ okay, but just let me know if anything hurts okay” Izuku said slightly worried. He waited for the kid to walk with him, “ so, you have any relatives I could take you too while I find your parents “
Alex walked alongside Izuku, seeming to be mostly fine, except his hands trembled a bit at times. Seems he had the same backlash to his quirk as Bakugo's, too. He slowly nodded, looking up at Izuku.
Izuku stoped and knelt down again, pulling something out of his poket, “ okay.” Izuku pauses “ can I see your arm, this will help. “ Izuku said taking off one of his gloves and holding out his other for the kids arm.
Alex tilted his head a bit confused but held his arm out to Izuku. "What's this for?" He questioned.
“ for the heat lash from you explosions.” Izuku said putting some on the kids arms, Izuku knew the cooling agent would kick in, so he wiped his hand off and put his glove back on “ my mom made it once for kachan, he said it helped him. So I thought it would help you”
