Alex groaned as he opened his eyes and was looked to the other side of the bed. John was still sleeping and Alex smiled at the sight. He pushed his hair aside and sat down on the bed.

John was peacefully sleeping. When he felt the warmth go he sat up grinning goofily, "Good morning dearest!"

Alex looked behind him and smiled when he saw John. "Good morning, love. I woke you up, didn't I?" Alex asked.

"Yeah, but it's ok. I have this day off from work to so since we did what I wanted to yesterday, it's your turn to pick!", John said and went to the closet. He pulled out a white tank top with black jeggings. He turned around and smiled at Alex.

"That's great. My boss let me have a day off, so I don't have to work till tomorrow." He paused and looked at John and gave him a smile "I heard there was a fair that was going to be in town for a week. Do you want to go?" He asked as he stood up and opened the closet to get some clothes.

John nodded his head, "Sure!" He went into the bathroom and got dressed. John came out wearing the tanktop and jeggings and struck a pose, "How do I look?"

Alex laughed and walked over to John. "Honestly, you look beautiful. I'm so jealous of your looks," He said teasingly. He then entered the bathroom and got dressed. A couple of minutes later, he came out wearing a red hoodie and black jeans. "We should get some breakfast before we go."

John nodded his head and got out two bowls of cereal. He poured himself some Lucky Charms and some milk and did the same for Alex, "Ta-da! My 10 star meal!"

"10-star meal? This deserves 100 stars, John." He said with a laugh as he sat down on the table. "This is a masterpiece, compared to my failed attempts at making eggs."

John put his hair in a ponytail and finished eating, "One day Alex you'll get it….one day." John was eager to spend the day with Alex at the fair.

"Yeah, one day." He said as he put his hair into a ponytail and ate his cereal as fast as he could. Sure there was the risk of choking and then dying, but he didn't care to much. He just wanted to spend some quality time with his boyfriend. He got up, and took both his and John's bowl and quickly washed them. "Alright, are we ready to go?"

John grabbed the cars keys and tossed them to Alex. He kissed Alex's cheek, "Yup!" John walked to the passenger door and got in.

"Great!" He entered the car and started it. He waited for a bit while it heated up, but when it did, he started driving to the fair. After a while, they arrived. He parked the car, turned it off, and exited. He took a deep breath. "I smell cotton candy."

John snorted, "You and your cotton candy." He got out of the car and took a breathe in. He sighed pleasantly.

"But, it's like the best thing to eat at a fair. I don't know how you don't like it." He said as he excitedly walked to the ticket booth. He bought two bracelets. He handed one to John and put the other on. He figured that it would be better than buying tickets whenever the pair ran out. "Alright, what should we do first?"

John grabbed Alex's hand, "Ooh… maybe we could do the carousel! That is always my favorite ride. Especially when I get stuck on the top."

"I don't know why, but things look a lot more cooler while being stuck on top of a Ferris wheel. And when the light shines on you, it reminds me how you're the most important thing in my life." Alex looked away as they made their way to the Ferris Wheel.

John blushed and kissed Alex, “You’re too sweet. Come on let's go.” John took Alex’s hand and ran to the ferris wheel. There was no one in line so they got in one of the carriages.

Alex smiled as the two made their way to the Ferris wheel. Since there was nobody in line, they got on quite fast and sat down. The guy started the ride and the Ferris wheel started going up. It came to a point that they were high enough to see everybody at the fair.

John sighed and put his head on Alex's shoulders. He enjoyed the time they had together. Anything at anytime could take Alex away from him.

Alex smiled as John put his head on his shoulders. He loved all the times when they were together, knowing that one day, the world was going to take John away. His smile turned into a frown as he looked out into the horizon. A little voice in his head was telling him something, but he ignored it. He knew that listening to the voice in his head would lead to nothing, but trouble.

When the ride stopped, John got a call. He looked down at it and lost his smile, "One minute Alex….." John walked away and answered the phone. He didn't know Alex could here though.
J: What do you want?
?:……you owe me………….(…… are where he can't hear)
J: (Harshly) I don't owe you anything. Stop calling me. I wish I never met you!
?: Don't forget…………… -so are you one to be making threats?
J:(Sad): No…. I'll do it.

John hanged up and walked back with a fake smile on his face, "Just a scammer."

Alex nodded with a fake smile. He knew John didn't know he could hear the call, but what he heard had broken his heart. He shook his head and looked at him. "Where to now?"
Is he cheating on me? No, that's something John would never do…right? He thought with a sigh. Maybe he got tired of me…maybe he really doesn't love me and I'm more like his toy than his boyfriend..

"I don't really know….", John said now with a real smile. "Ooh! Let's go get that cotton candy you love. I'll pay."

Alex was busy thinking horrible scenarios that he barely even registered what John had said. "Huh? Oh, cotton candy. Yeah, right. Uh…thanks." Alex said quickly as he put his hands in his sweater pocket and walked over to the food truck.
