Drew nodded happily, before looking up at Evan, "Not a princess dress, one for a prince." He corrected before sipping more of his water. Graham just shrugged, trying not to smile a little bit. And to think those two are so alike. I hope that this continues. "I think that would be nice." He said running a hand through his hair before pulling it into a small ponytail. "Maybe we can look for a cat then boys?"
Connor who at this point was just trying to eat the last piece of the bread without Graham noticing, dropped the bread and looked up a grin on his face, "We can actually get a cat dad? You mean it?"
"Mozzart could use a friend…" Evan hinted with a smile. "And yes,a dress fit for a king." Liam then walked over and set down the dishes. "Here you are. If you need anything just wave, and if you'd like dessert also let me know." He said this all in a very curt and cold voice, before whisking himself away. Evan shrugged and began to dig into his food.
Graham sighed watching the other man walk away. He really doesn't like me, does he? He thought before turning back to face the kids, "Of course, but as you know, it'll be a big responsibility. After all, you've been wanting a cat, so I'm not going to be the only one to take care of it. You and even Drew will take care of the cat, like feeding it, playing with it, giving it water, and emptying out the litter box, okay?" The boy's nodded excitedly as they began to eat their food, and their conversation consisted of what they were going to name the cat, the color, and gender. Glancing over at Evan, Graham smiled, letting out a small laugh, "And you'll help too right? When you come over to visit? I man, the boys and I might need some help figuring this thing out, and maybe Mozart might like to come meet him?"
"Mozzart is really friendly and great with kids. I'm actually considering making him a therapy cat. So yes. I'd adore helping you three." He listened to their chat with a soft proud smile, before leaning over and kissing Graham, before whispering. "I love you." And taking home of his hand, now returning to eating with one hand.
Graham nodded before blushing when he felt the other man kiss him. O-Oh my gods… He thought as his cheeks were turning a dark dark shade of red. He began to eat some of his food, but he couldn't focus, he was just thinking about what Evan had said.
Evans face was as equally as red as he ate, giving Graham's hand a squeeze, as the table fell silent and the only thing that could be heard was everyone eating. "So then, what are you boys thinking about getting as a cat?"
"I want a pink cat!" Drew said excitedly taking a bite of his meatball.
"Those don't exist, Drew," Cater said, looking down at his younger brother.
"Yes they do, I saw one in my show." Drew turned to look at Carter, his arms crossed. "And her name was Princess Flufferina and she talked."
Carter just shook his head, rolling his eyes before looking back at Evan, "I'd like a black cat or something, I don't know, it really doesn't matter to me anymore." He said with a shrug, before eating a bit more of his food.
Graham just chuckled a little bit, watching his kids have a mini arguement. "Drew you already have a pink cat, and I don't think you'd need another, okay? And I was thinking about that too, actually, Evan and I spoke about getting a black cat. They aren't really bad luck, and well it'd be nice to have a nice cat around the house. But even if we don't find a black cat, I'd still like to adopt one."
"White cats are actually generally pretty mean. And Mozzart is such a lover boy. But honestly I think there's this turtle shell at the shelter named Sheldon Cooper. He's a big fat lazy cat, really friendly. Sadly before he was dropped off he was declawed, which I hate doing but it won't hurt the boys on the slim chance he gets mad and scratches someone. And he's a big cuddler. A good pillow too. The only problem is he has a weird gland weight thing so you'd have to keep an eye on what he eats. Nothing harmful, just gotta keep it down. Or Moxie, a little vicious and sassy black kitten. Vicious in a playful climb up your leg and bite your fingers, if you want something feistier, younger, and more active. She likes to fall asleep in hoodie pockets." Evans eyes danced as he spoke, happy to be reminiscing about cats. "Oh and we have this black cat named Missy, who has a litter of kittens we're hoping to adopt out soon. They're names are Jack Jack, Zippy, and Spluge. I didn't name them, a local 5th grade class did in hopes of getting them adopted. There were 2 more, but they already are in happy homes. Those two were Cookie and Cream." He tapped his finger on his chin. "I think that's all I've got. Just kinda depends on what you're looking for."
Graham looked over at the children, in his opinion, he was a bit interested in the first cat, Sheldon Cooper. He sort of wanted a cat a little bit older and sweeter, but knowing the boys they'd probably be interested in Moxie. I know that the last three would probably be adopted right away. and well, it wouldn't hurt to have two cats? But he didn't say anything on that, just smiling at Evan and kissing the man's cheek. "I guess we'll have to just go and meet them? Hhm?" He said as he looked down at the boys. They nodded happily growing more and more exited at the thought of finally getting a pet.
"Eat up boys. I'm glad I get to help you." He watched the boys excitement with a smile, kissing his lovers cheek. "Do you love me too?" He whispered softly before returning to his meal, sipping on his tea. His eyes then strayed away from the table and observed the crowd. He noticed other people were watching them, which confused Evan a bit. But he returned his attention to Graham, shrugging it off.
"Of course I do, if I didn't, would I do this?" Graham had been aware of the others for a while and just wanted to get them to stop watching them. He hoped it wasn't the first time they had seen a gay couple out before. But ignoring those thoughts, he leaned over to kiss Evan on the lips. After a few moments, he pulled away, a bit breathless as he glanced around, surveying the crowd. None of them seemed too surprised to them kiss, I guess it might be something else? He turned his attention over to the boys, just praying that none of their wires had come exposed, and of course, his worst nightmare quickly became true. "Uhm, Evan, we need to go now if that's okay?" He said as he began to pull out some money to cover the bill, then placed it neatly on the table. Taking Drew and Carter's hands he led them out of the restaurant and towards the garage, I hope that no one caught that on camera. As they got closer to the car, Drew's mechanical parts began to malfunction a bit, shaking as the hydraulic pressure began to get low. Dammit…
((Sorry! I was mid response and my dad yelled at me about hw so i've been swamped in work lately but i'll get it up soon!)
((OOf, it's fine, take you time))
Evan waved over Liam and quickly packed up everyones dinners into Styrofoam containers. He then followed them out to the car and got in, noticing the wires poking out and the one boy beginning to fall apart a bit. "I guess we should've eaten dinner at your place hm? I think it's super interesting you made robot sons. I'll ask my questions later, let's rush home and get them fixed up." He held Graham's hand and kissed his cheek. "Let's hurry."
Graham mumbled something under his breath as he placed Drew into his car seat, "They aren't robots exactly." He said, before powering Drew off and strapping the boy in. "Well, sort of," he said, helping Carter into the car, making sure that the other boy was alright before climbing into the driver's seat. "Well, they aren't robots, moreso cyborgs I guess." He said with a sigh, "They are my sons though, but they were in an accident a few years ago, and well, you can tell what happened." He said with a sigh, shaking his head a little bit.
(I AM SO SORRY I FORGOT ABOUT THIS!)
