Nyx eyed the screen. "So remind me why they're fighting?"

He paused it.
"So basically Dio's Stand awakening awaken every other Joestar's stands and Holly Joestar, Jotaro's mom, is so gentle in nature that he body physically cannot handle the Stand she has. So they went to Egypt to kill Dio, basically." He finished

She blinked at him, confused.

"Yeah, it's confusing."

"…Vozzie?"

"Yes, Nyxie?"
(This reminds me of me and my gf's relationship so damn much)

"…I love you."

"I love you more."

"Oh, enough of the competing already." She kissed him.

He kissed back

She hugged him and broke the kiss, pressing her forehead against his chest.

He pushed play. Jotaro and Dio began fighting.

Nyx, who wasn't a big fan of violence, kept her eyes closed.

They kept fighting up to the point where dio was about to die.
"Look, Dio gets his payback!" He told Nyx

Nyx peeked.

Dio exploded.
It was now 9:53 pm

Nyx's stomach growled.

"It's time for dinner!"

"Yeah, time for dinner," she agreed. She was sleepy.

"Okay then." He said, "shall I cook up something?"

"If you want," she murmured. She was exhausted all of a sudden. "Is this what beer does to you? Makes you tired?"

"No. It usually makes you warm inside."

"You make me warm inside," she murmured, putting her head in his lap.

"So I'm beer?"

"Better."

"You make me warm inside too."

She smiled up at him.

He got up to make food

Nyx lay, curled up, in the fort, too tired to move. "Vozzie?"

"Yes?"
