She laughed softly. The bartender returned with a ginger ale, which Nyx sipped at.
"By the way, I think you dared me to drink the whole thing of beer, and I did."

"Correct, but I don't own you anything."

"Oh, come on, a dare always has to have some sort of payoff."

"And I didn't offer anything."

"Mmm… how about a kiss?"

"Fair enough. Where though?"

"Here's fine." She gave him a quick kiss.

It was on his cheek. And he returned the kiss

Nyx laughed and went back to her food.

He did so too.

They ate. Nyx noticed that a lot of people were cheering.
"What are they all cheering about?" she asked.

"Football. Over in America, you'll call it Soccer."

"Oh. I've heard of that."

"Yeah…" He said, watching the telly.

They watched for a few minutes, and then Nyx said, "It's not very… interesting."

"Ten euros say that Switzerland wins against England." He made a bet with the barkeep.

Nyx raised her eyebrows. "You're making a bet?"

Nyx sighed and drummed her fingers on the counter.

England was winning, then suddenly, Switzerland took the lead.

Nyx watched it. She couldn't make out anything the announcer was saying.
And then, against all odds, Switzerland pulled ahead and won by one point.

They kept winning too

The barkeep sighed and dug 10 euros out of his pocket.

"Wait. We need to see if they win the entire game." Vozreal said
