Saffi stood at the wall by the door. "There's only one of them," she whispered.
Saffi stood at the wall by the door. "There's only one of them," she whispered.
"That we can see," Davis added.
(Agh I forgot to respond)
"Well that's all we can go by now, we need to go through here," she stated.
"Alright, but don't blame me if we get jumped or something."
"Yeah yeah, I'll get blamed, I know. That's how things usually work when I try to help others," she said. She opened the door slightly and peeked in.
"Sorry, I didn't mean it like that," Davis muttered.
"No one ever does," she whispered. "There's two, a girl and a guy, guarding another door."
"So, should I?" he asked grabbing two of his throwing knives.
"You take the guy, I got the girl," she whispers, taking a deep, shaky breath.
"Don't kill them, knock them out," she adds.
.
"Alright," Davis nodded, "How exactly do I do that? I don't exactly have anything to knock 'em out with."
"Hit them in the head, hard, with the flat side of you knife," she whispered.
"I thought we were goind to take 'em out without being seen, you know, just in case?"
"Back of the head smart one, they aren't facing this door," she said, not looking at him.
"Well you could've told me that, I can't exactly see, you're hogging the crack," Davis retorted.
She rolled her eyes. "It's easy to infer," she replied calmly.
"I don't assume things," Davis crossed his arms, "So? Are we going to go yet?"
"You first," she said, suddenly afraid.
"Alright," Davis shrugged. He quietly cracked open the door, seeing a girl and a boy right next to the door, but not facing it. He grabbed both knives and held them in his hands. He jumped out and knocked the girl with the hilt before turning to hit the boy upside the head too. As he swung, his wrist was caught by the guys grip. Davis used his other arm to smack him, "All good," he nodded at the door Saffi was behind, "Sorry you didn'þ get any of the fun, but if I hadn't done that, it'd be me on the floor right now."
(Should they get drugged or something for drama?)
(Yeah, who doesn't love drama. They should also wake up and confess some really awkward things to each other XD)
"Yeah whatever," she said. She walked into the room and looked around, not moving from the doorway.
(They're probably really tiny darts a human can't feel by touching it)
"So, what should we-" Davis stopped after he felt a sting on his neck. He felt the back, but he didn't feel anything on it, "-do," he finished, "Sorry, a spider probably bit me or something, it's fine."
"I don't know.." Saffi felt something on her neck and quickly rubbed it with her hand. "Oh, me too…"
"Ha, strange," Davis laughed, his words started to slur together, "Yeah… I'm starting to think that it wasn't a spider," he stated. The room was spinning now, "Carp."
"What the…." her voice faded and she leaned on the wall. "Woah…."
Davis blacked out, the last thing he remembered was saying "Carp" instead of "Crap".
"No…." Saffi's head started pounding worse and she fell to the ground.
(Do you want Saffi to wake first?)
