John put the batter on the cookie sheets and then put them into the oven. He gave Alex the spoon while smiling and took some batter of it and licked it. Getting a little on his lip.

"Now we wait."

Alex licked the batter off the spoon and with a finger, removed the batter that was on John's lip. He licked his finger and grinned. "So, what do we now? Do you want to finish the movie?"

John blushed but hid it behind his big sweater sleeve, "Sure, but only until the cookies are done. We don't want them to burn."
(LOL SINGS I HOPE THAT THEY DON"T BURNNNNNNN)

"Alright. The movie should be done by the time the cookies are done, so it shouldn't be much of a problem." He grabbed John's hand and dragged him back to the living room.

John let himself be dragged by his boyfriend. He sat on the couch and held his arms out, "Cuddles?"

"How can I say no to you?" Alex smiled as he sat down and held John close, giving him a kiss on the forehead. He grabbed the remote from the table and unpaused the movie.

John smirked, "It just can't be done." Then he smiled warmly and nuzzled into Alex, starting to fall asleep.

"You're right, it just can't be done." He whispered as he watched John starting to fall asleep. He smiled and stroked his hair as he watched the movie. He would wake the man later when the cookies where ready.

John heard beeping and awoke with a startle. Did Alex burn himself or something. "ALEX!"

"Yeah John?" He said from the kitchen. He grabbed a pair of gloves and took out the cookie sheets out of the oven. "And if you were wondering, no I did not burn myself or the house."

John rushed into the kitched but stopped when he saw Alex taking out the cookie sheet. John's heart melted. He took out his phone and took a picture of it.

He placed the cookie sheets on the counter and took off the gloves. He grabbed a cookie but immediately put it down. "Fuck, they're hot and I just burned myself. I should wait until they cool down, but. ." He picks up the cookie and eats it.

"Alex! Now I guess I'm going to have to kiss you to make sure your tongues not burned."

He grinned and grabbed another cookie. "I guess so, John."

John grabs the hand that has a cookie and gently makes you let go of it. He draws Alex in close to him and gently kisses him.

He looked at the cookie as it was being taken away from him. "But the coo–" Alex was interrupted by John's kiss. He smiled against the kiss and pulled away after a couple of moments.

"Now isn't that better than being burned by a hot cookie? It's going to take about a half-an-hour before they are cooled down. We can do something while we are waiting. What do you wanna do darling?"

"Yeah, it is better than being burned by a hot cookie. I prefer you over the cookie. The cookie may be hot, but not as hot as you." Alex paused, knowing what he said was a bit cringey, but he really didn't care. He shrugged. "I dunno. I don't have anything in mind, so I'll let you choose."

John smirked, "I have an idea." He led Alex to his room and opened his closet. He pulled out Monopoly. "Wanna play? I'll bet I will beat you."

He narrowed his eyes down at the board game for a bit before looking back at John and grinning. "You're on. I highly doubt that you can beat me. I'm like…a master at this game."
