"No not interdependence," Miriam explained, "trying to be perfect all the time."

"Oh, that's hilarious. You think I need to try. Like I said, I'm a von Karma, perfection is what we live by." She looked back to her work, not reciprocating any eye-contact Miriam might try to initiate.

Miriam sat down next to the Von Karma. "Well nobody is perfect, no matter how hard we try or how good we are at things. Nothing is perfect not even Nature. Especially not in nature, nature is wild and unorganized, human they try to be organized but they are just as sloppy as nature. We all have faults. I had to learn this the hard way. I hope," the half-ling paused for a moment, "I hope you don't have to learn the same way I did. Everyone in my life had always told me what I am telling you. I never listened and then. . ." Miriam trailed off before finishing her sentence.
(Sorry this was so long. I have been writing a lot of paragraphs lately.)

"Oh, how foolish you are to fool your already foolishly foolhardy foolishness into thinking something as foolishly foolish as that. I already disliked you, but now, I must say, you're beginning to cross the line of 'dislike' into 'disdain.' Perfection is standing before you, and you refuse to acknowledge its existence? How pathetic." Franziska glared at her with eyes sharper than any blade. It might be wise to back off, lest Miriam gets whipped.

"You say foolish way too many times," Hildegard commented from her spot near a tree. She had a basket filled with edible plants that she had conjured up during her excursion and placed it on the ground. "You also have high expectations and clearly want to be seen as a perfect person when in reality you're not. Seems to me you're trying too hard, really."

Unfortunately, this made the already angry prosecutor angrier, and she whipped at Hildegard’s feet, completely ignoring the remark about her vocabulary. “There is no such thing as trying too hard! At least I’m not expecting you to be perfect, and instead to just be competent enough to get your damn work done!” Issues much?

Hildegard merely raised her eyebrows at the prosecutor, not even flinching when the whip touched her feet. She could tell that the prosecutor had major issues, and while she disagreed with the whole there is no such thing as trying too hard, she thought it'd be better if she didn't aggravate her even further.

"Whatever you say, Fran," she replied with a shrug.

Varuni walked over. "Is there a problem?'

Franziska looked a little surprised when Hildegard didn't react, the same kind of slight bewilderment that comes from a cat after it fails to catch The Dot. "…Do not call me 'Fran.'" She muttered angrily.
Yeah, I think she needs help….

Varuni waited.

The woman rolled her eyes at Franziska as she ignored the newcomer that had appeared out of nowhere. "Aw, come on. I think it's cute. It makes you look…just a tad bit likable." She paused and sighed dramatically. "But since you insist, your highness, I won't call you Fran." Another pause. "Maybe, I don't make any promises."

Franziska looked a bit… flustered? Wow, that’s the first emotion she’s shown other than grumpiness and anger. “I..I wouldn’t suggest calling me anything else, especially something as informal as..’Fran’” She growled, probably trying to save whatever intimidation cards she could.
Turning away, and inevitably facing the skeleton, she quickly looked her up and down, huffed, and asked; “What are you looking at..?”

"I'm not, currently." A small green light pops into her eye sockets. "Now i am. I was just wondering if there was a problem over here."
