"A show based off a novel. It's about angels and demons."
"A show based off a novel. It's about angels and demons."
"Like you." She grinned and elbowed him gently in the chest.
"… correct! And it talks about the Anti-christ."
"What's that?"
"The Antichrist is the opposite of Jesus."
"Oh."
"It's said that they will come as a leader, saving the world, at first."
"Mm." Her head lolled against his shoulder, and she started browsing. "This looks interesting." It was The Grand Tour.
"Sure." He stated
Nyx selected a random episode. It was the one where Jeremy and James are in Italy with a brown Aston Martin DB11 and a Rolls-Royce Phantom, and then Richard Hammond shows up in a Dodge Challenger Hellcat and does donuts.
"Very nice cars…" He noticed
"The Aston Martin would be prettier if it wasn't brown," Nyx murmured. "I like the Dodge."
"Dodges are nice, and the Aston Martin is pretty, even in Brown."
"I wish I had a car…"
"I could give you one of mine."
"Which cars do you have?"
"Classic ones… I don't remember the exact models at the moment…"
"Do you have any Dodges?"
"Of course."
"Cool," she said approvingly.
"Anyways… Let's continue watching…"
Nyx sighed happily and snuggled against his chest, giggling as Richard Hammond went on a tirade about Nissan Jukes.
He cuddled back
By the time they finished the episode, it was dinnertime.
"So, how about we make Euphemism Chicken?" Nyx asked.
"What exactly is it a euphemism for?"
(I genuinely don't know…)
"I was teasing you. I just don't remember what the real name for it is." She got up.
"Okay then." He got up and grabbed an apron and put it on.
Nyx smiled at him in an apron, putting hers on too. "OK, what do we need?"
He told her the ingredients, because I have no clue and my head hurts and I hate doing research when my head hurts
(Ohhh baby <3)
They made it. Nyx made sure not to make it too spicy. She didn't look too bad in an apron. She was good at cooking, too.
