"Just a slice."

"How big?" She cut a small slice for herself.

"Average."

"All right." She cut a slice and set it on the table in front of him. "So what do you want to do today?"

"I don't know. How about we visit a hindu temple?"

"Hindu's a religion, right?"

"Yep." He said.

"Sure! Let's go to one."

"You know… Reincarnation, or samsara, as they call it, is real. So is the concept of Karma." He stated.
"I've met Karma, actually. She's not a bitch, unlike the popular saying goes. She's very nice." He went to the car.

"So all religions are real? Wait for me, I have to get my bracelets."

"Certain assets of religions are real. Reincarnation is basically like dialogue choice in video games; just a choice you can make. There is only one God. And They (God is agender) are not homophobic, despite what baptists, EXTREMELY hateful Muslims (few and far between, lots of Muslims are good), and other hateful sub-branches of different religions think. Also, Atheism is wrong, but right. You can just choose to go to Limbo if you led a neutral life."

"Yeah." Nyx nodded and fetched her bracelets, returning a few minutes later with them around her wrists. "Let's go."

He got the car started and went to a hindu temple.
"We're here!" He said, after an hour of confused driving, followed by a minor cow roadblock.

Nyx, who was still laughing about the cows, sat up and peered at it. "Oh, it's pretty!"

"I swear, imma eat a steak the second we leave…" He mumbled and got out.
"Yeah, it is beautiful."

"I told you they wouldn't scratch up the car," Nyx said, and it was true. The car was spotless. "Are we allowed to go in?"

"I think you have to take off your shoes…" He stated

She sighed. "As long as my toes don't get cold." And nobody sees that they're webbed.

"I'm sure it's fine. I just realized something… I don't think I've seen your feet before…"

"Of course you've seen my feet. You would have seen them… this… morning…" Her nose turned red, and she cleared her throat. "Um, well, we've been swimming before. You would have seen them then…"

"I wasn't really paying attention to your feet!"

"What were you paying attention to?" She smirked and prodded his chest.

"Your eyes." He said, telling the truth half-way

"Really?" She smiled.

"…and your butt…"

She raised her eyebrows, rolled her eyes, and laughed, hugging him. "I should have known."

"What can I say, I'm more of an ass guy!" He said, taking his shoes off.

"I'll bet that's what you were looking at this morning," she muttered, taking hers off as well, but not her socks.

"Yeah…" He admitted.

"At least you didn't see anything else. Let's go in."
