(I could imagine Joshua being late for the first time and everyone in the rv just freaking out and honking the horn))

(Uhm, I guess? I sort of just sort of meant a chat or something on here so we could talk about the boys or something, but uhm yeah that works too.))

Maybe it was the brightness, sun shining so effortlessly through his open window, that woke Rocky up. Or maybe it was the warm summer breeze, causing his blinds to tap so lightly on the glass. And maybe it was his alarm, cooing so softly beneath his bed— because he had dropped his phone the night prior.
Or, perhaps it was the absolutely blaring horn, emanating from an old junker RV parked so haphazardly in his driveway.
Regardless, Rocky was up within a few seconds, heart racing as he realized he was late. He had never been so happy as to remember to pack the night before, picking up his phone with maximum effort before yanking his suitcase from beside his door. It was an extremely quick goodbye to his parents as he stumbled out his front door.
“Stop, stop, guys!” he called, laughing with his free hand over his ear. “I’m up!”
He was still in pajamas, but that was pretty much the equivalent of black sweats and a striped band shirt, from some 80’s rock festival. And, despite his groggy voice, he wore such a genuine smile on his face as he looked up to the RV, shading his eyes.
“I’m so sorry, my alarm was so quiet, I didn’t hear it,” he promised, shielding his eyes from the early morning sun.

(it’s up to you guys who was honking the horn and who is already in the RV, etc)

"Are you really up, though?" Teigi leaned out of the RV's window, grinning. "You're still in pajamas! But alas, so am I, so who am I to talk?" Sure enough, the young man was still wearing pale green sweats and an old t-shirt he'd won in a writing competition, and although he was wearing sneakers, the laces were still untied.
Ren, who was perched on Teigi's shoulder, mewed at Rocky as he leaned farther out, eventually jumping off of Teigi's shoulder, landing on Rocky's head.
"Ren, how could you?" Teigi had an over-the-top, orchestrated look of shock on his face. "I thought you loved me, Ren! But here you are, choosing Rocky's head over the comfort of my shoulder." He shook his head, sighing before grinning again. "So anyway, hurry up!"
