"Ah of course! Makes sense. I'm surprised you were able to get a sitter this late at night." He dished up his food, and put aside an extra plate for his food. "The rest you can just put in the fridge." He said with a smile as he got himself a soda, and got Graham a cup of ice water. "Sorry my place isn't much-Hi Mottza! Baaaby~" He purred as he picked up his cat, which was stitching himself between his legs. He nuzzled his cat as Mozzart looked down at his food. "No no baby. You've gained enough weight, precious thing." He listened to the cat meow in complain. "I KNOW the food is nummers but you've got enough of a belly!" He set down the cat and grabbed his plate and soda, trying to not trip on his cat as Mozzart followed and Evan continued to tell his cat no. It was really adorable.
"Don't apologize about it, it's fine." He said with a chuckle as he watched the man interact with his cat, "I have to agree with Mozart though, I'd be pretty upset if someone brought delicious food home and said none for me." He said as he sat down at the table and scratched the cat behind his ears. My gods, this man is simply precious, and for some reason he likes me.
He nuzzled his cat as his cat got on the back of the couch and batted at Evans fork. "FINE FINE FINE!" He handed over a piece of beef to his cat. "You happy now, walking pillow?" The cat took it in his mouth and ran off, while Evan shook his head and turned on the TV. "I have Hulu and Netflix. Anything in particular you want to watch?" He asked as he began to eat.
"Meh, no not really. You can watch whatever you'd like." He said eating a bite of his egg foo young. "He is so precious though, I mean, I'd love to have a cat, but well, the boy's aren't ready for it yet. They sort of want one though."
"I'd suggest one that is super friendly. Stay away from siamese and tabby cats, along with marble cats. They tend to choose one person they really like, and then be really mean to other cats. Tortoise shells are pretty friendly, but in all honesty? Black cats. They get the least adopted out in shelters since they are seen as bad luck, so they end up…meeting a very tragic end." He turned on some Full House just as more background noise then anything. "I actually volunteer every wednesday at the local Cat House just down the street. Sundays too. If you'd ever like to take the boys down I could show you around, get them introduced to the cats."
"They'd really like that, and I'm sure they'd like to meet you too. I've mentioned you once or twice and well, they for some reason put two and two together." He said with a shrug, "And well, I've always wanted a black cat before, I mean in my opinion they are so cute and stuff, but well, in a way it's sort of up to the kiddos."
"You have a lot of filler words in your speech, like your nervous or hiding something. I know meeting cute boys for the first time can be difficult BUT just. Relax a bit. I mean have you seen your face? I'm terrified over here if we're basing our nervousness on a looks ratio. So. Just breath. I bet I'm gonna like your kids." He smiled softly as his cat came back and started begging for more, which drew Evan's attention away as he shooed Mottzart away. (I have no idea how to spell the dudes name and at this point i'm having too much fun with my misspellings to care)
"Oh hush." He said rolling his eyes a little bit, "I just well, I worry a lot about that sort of stuff. I guess I was worried about you not even liking me because I have kids. I mean, most people don't want to date a guy who has two kids already, but I guess you…" He trailed off, seeing that the guy wasn't paying attention to him anymore, "Do you think Mozart would like to have a wonton?"
"But I…? And no he's a fat cat. He's SUPPOSED to be on a diet." Mozzart wasn't super fat but his stomach had begun to get near to the ground. "Well continue on. I was listening you know. Your opinion matters to me." He said gently as he returned to eating as the cat sat under his feet and kept meowing. "Don't worry. I'm practically the dad within my own family."
"Okay then, they're just well, a little bit different, but that's okay?" He said with a slightly worried smile. "I mean, it'll be okay I guess, you'll probably like them, I mean I hope you will like them." He moved to scratch the cat behind the ears as he ate, "I mean, he's not that fat, I mean, he's cute."
Evan reached over and kissed Graham's nose. "Hush Cracker. Take a breather. Relax. You're on a nice rainy day date watching full house eating chinese. Don't worry about anything more then just getting to know one another." He then stuffed his face with food to ignore the cherry red tint that began to burn it's way up to his ears.
Graham turned a dark shade of red when the man kissed him, "O-oh okay." He mumbled looking down and away from the man, sort of shocked that the man had kissed him, "I-I uhm, okay, I'll try to relax, for you?" He took another bite of his food, still blushing all the while.

He was glad his kiss has gotten Graham to quiet down. Maybe he'd relax a bit more once they both got over being embarrassed. He hoped he hadn't moved too fast as he scooted away a bit,and took a sip of his soda.

Graham was sort of sad that the man moved away, he sort of wanted to cuddle with him, but that'd probably be moving too fast or something. He finished eating his food and placed it back onto the table when he leaned back against the couch.
He glanced at Graham's chest a bit and then let his eyes travel up to the mans face where his eyes lingered for a bit. He finished up and stood up. "You left the food for your boys on the counter. So I'll go put it away for you." He smiled and walked over to the kitchen, put the food in the fridge, and then went back over to the couch, planting himself right next to Graham.
Graham moved a little closer next to him, sort of pulling the other man closer to him, slipping his arm around him. Then he turned his attention to the tv, not really saying anything about what he was doing.
Evan's eyes went wide as he looked at Graham,and he shyly laid his head on his chest, happy that Graham had gotten the subtle hint as he sipped on his soda. "Well. This is a pleasant surprise." He said gently,unable to help the nervous smile across his face as he felt his heart skip beats.
Graham chuckled a little bit, nodding, " I guess it is. I hope I'm not well, bothering you or something?" He said quietly, his nervousness coming back, "I mean, I hope it isn't bad or something?"
"No no I don't mind it at all." He said gently, nuzzling in a bit. "Again, just surprised. I'm glad you feel comfortable." He took a few deep breaths and settled in against him, a soft smile on his face. "So tell me more about yourself. I know you do robots and have 2 sons but what else? Favorite animal, least favorite food? If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?" He looked up at Graham, curiosity filling him as he observed the careful features of the handsome face above him.
"Mmm, well when I have someone as cute as you around me, it's easy to feel comfortable dear." He said quietly, gently kissing the man on the head. "Well, my favorite animal is an aardvark -it was a high school nickname and well it just sort of stuck and I just love the animal now. My least favorite food would probably be homemade stir fry, I've never had one that tastes good in my opinion which I guess is sort of silly, but well in general probably spaghetti. And live anywhere in the world, probably here, I like it here."
He blushed at the forehead kiss and cleared his throat. "I make a really good stir fry so. If I made it for you. Would you choke it down? And do you have any questions for me?" He asked, before sitting up more and putting his head onto Graham's shoulder, kissing his cheek gently. He was trying really hard to keep his cool, but in all honesty this taking chances and being daring is having quite the attack on his nerves.
"I'd try to eat it dear, alright?" He was a little nervous at the moment, not sure what to do at the moment. 'Perhaps the same, and if there's anything nice you'd like to tell me dear, tell me whatever you'd like." He said with a smile, holding the man in his arms.
"Dear? I've never been called Dear before…I like it. Well let's see, I really like cats, but especially black cats." He heard a meow as his cat laid across the back of the couch. "Yes Mozzy baby I'm talking about you." He booped his cat and continued as his cat hopped down and curled up in Evan's lap. "I don't really like brussel sprouts, and also anything spicy really. Upsets my stomach. And I'd probably live in Paris. The music, the culture the art? And of course the food. ESPECIALLY spaghetti." He laughs a bit, enjoying this night all too well.
"Mhmm." He said with a nod, "Black cats are quite cute, and well as you know I've always wanted one." He began reaching over for his glass of water when the man said he didn't like Brussel sprouts, "YOU WHAT? Those are the best. I normally cook them with a nice cut of steak, oh god it's perfection." He said with a chuckle, "Hmm, what type of music do you like?"
"Brussel sprouts. Nasty. Anyways most musicals and something with soul in it. Classical too. And a bit of bluegrass actually. And you?" He pet his cat with a smile, giving it little kisses as it got up onto under his chin and nuzzled him. "Handsome kitty…" He said softly.
"I just listen to a lot of instrumental music. I love a good cover of a song with a cello or a piano, it always sounds so beautiful." He said with a smile, as he looked down at boy cuddling with his cat, "And Brussel sprouts aren't that bad, I promise, if you'll make me stir fry, then let me make you some really good Brussel sprouts, is that fair?"
"Fine I'll try your brussel sprouts." He said with a smile, nuzzling into Graham a bit as the cat clambered into Graham's lap and nuzzled him as well. "Such an attention getter hmm Mozzy~? Ask me anything I'll always give an honest response."
Graham decided to take a small leap of faith and pulled the other man into his lap, along with the cat. "Hhm, this might be a dumb question, but uhm…" Never mind, ask him another time. "Well, would you like to actually turn something on, or just leave the TV on and talk?"
He blushed and sat there frozen stiff. The twink blinked a few times as Mozzart pawed at Evans nose,which snapped him back into motion. "Right yes. No I uh I mean…" He cleared his throat as he took a few breaths. "Let me try that again. The tv is more background noise,I just really enjoy talking to you. I could honestly talk to you for hours. I don't know but you're just so interesting and have struck my fancy,which is rare for me. If you'd rather watch something…I just put on Full House because it's still good even if everyone has seen a bunch of episodes a bajillion times. Good background noise. So is Golden girls. Also there is no dumb questions. Seriously try having my twin sister. You'll learn thatt there really isn't."
Graham blushed a little bit slipping his arms around his waist. "Okay then, that's fine, I was just curious, I mean if you put on Golden Girls I'd probably start paying attention to that, so Full House was a good choice." They had begun their awkward ramble once more and was growing more and more nervous. "I mean, there are some dumb questions, but I won't make you hear them."
