Avery flinched at the word "murder."
"No, he didn't, actually," she whispered. "He lied to me about who he was for almost two years."
(Idk…)
Avery flinched at the word "murder."

(Idk…)
(I'm alive)
(I'm dead inside…)
(Wow… Okay.)
(I've gtg. I'll be back tomorrow.
Hopefully.)
(Uh yeah I’m here)
(I haven't responded to this in forever but I think Kaz and Vaughn are on the bike going somewhere)
Dylan nodded. He didn't know exactly what she meant, but it was obvious whatever line he was tugging on had a hook that was tearing through her.
With nothing more to say, Dylan focused on the drive ahead.
(Following us to Artemis' place. Dylan isn't going to push Avery's problems. At least, not right now. We'll get Vaughn and Avery patched up. Speaking of, should we should probs flash to Artemis' place.)
(A time skip sounds fine.)
Avery stayed quiet for the rest of the ride, thankful that Dylan didn't push her to explain further. Soon, they arrived at the place she assumed was where the other person was going to meet them.
Artemis walked out, wearing a very fancy and professional black dress. "Hello. You'll find everything you need for medical treatment and other personal needs through here." she said, beckoning them to follow.
Kaz parked his bike, carefully making sure that it didn't tip too much as he got off. He took his helmet off, setting it on the handlebar as he held a hand out for Vaughn
Dylan noted that she got straight to the point: They needed some help.
Dylan had told her that his friends were drunk, that's it. It was obvious the jig was up.
"So, did you guess it was just a tough drinking party? Or did you call my bluff?"
(Oh, he said that in front of Avery.)
"Truth is singular, lies are words, words, words. And seeing as most of your party is injured, I was forced to assume."
"I will wish to talk with one of you privately, as soon as possible."
Avery's eyebrows scrunched down, and she gave Dylan an odd look.
"Uh… What, exactly, did you tell her?" she asked warily.
Dylan cast an apologetic look at Avery, "That ya'll were so drunk you could barely stand. I said we were tourists."
He turned back to Artemis, "I'll have that chat with you. And this time there are no more lies. Seeing as how you know everything except what we're going to do."
He motioned for everyone else to file in.
"Welcome to my summer home. You can ask Interface for a map, I have prepared rooms for you if you wish to spend the night." Artemis said.
Dylan shook his head, unsatisfied, "Thanks, but we have a problem. Before we do anthing, you need to be straight with me. You're not just a robot taking a pleasure cruise. Why are you here?"
"All in good time. I can answer your questions soon, I just need to talk with you in private first."
"Right. Ok. Let's go."
Artemis lead Dylan to a small study. "Sit down." she said, offering a chair.
Dylan sat, making himself as comfortable as he could in the presence of the machine. Something about the way it's voice sounded was just… off. But at the very least, he could respect the her wishes of being treated the same as anyone else.
Avery glared at Dylan before he walked away, then sighed and shifted nervously.
What is happening?
Vaughn got off the bike, taking the helmet off. He swayed slightly on his feet, a hand reaching out to grab onto Kaz’s upper arm for support. “I really don’t feel good,” he mumbled, pressing his free hand over the wound.
Kaz looked over at him, eyes wide and full of concern. "It's okay, love. I'll summon Cas once we're inside, because I'm not sure how well I'll be able to fix that without him," he said softly, beginning to lead Vaughn towards the house
"I see you feel discomfort in my presence. Please, relax. I intend no harm to come to you."
Vaughn hummed in response, eyes narrowed in suspicion. “It’s probably just me, but a stranger taking us in makes me uneasy,” he mumbled, walking slowly with Kaz.
“Yeah, I don’t like it either. But when we get inside I’ll call Cas and he’ll fix you up. Then we can take care of whatever the hell you got yourself mixed into,” Kaz murmured softly
Vaughn huffed softly and nodded his head slowly. “Thank you,” He murmured, leaning against Kaz as he limped slightly. His stomach stung, and he wouldn’t have been surprised if he bled through the bandages.
Kaz nodded. “C’mon, let’s get you inside,” he said, opening the door for him and helping him inside
