She nodded briefly. ”I still appreciate what you did.” she insisted. ”As long as you're here, you are welcome to stay with me. I have a spare room.” she offered. Since he was here for her anyway, he might as well stay where he can see just how she was doing for himself.

Sirus nodded, "I wouldn't mind a roof for once." he said calmly, "But I'll do my own hunting." He would accept a place to stay, but he wouldn't take advantage of anything else.

The chief nodded back and walked off himself.

Gwen stopped by the deer and grabbed one of the antlers which, by tradition, were now her’s. Even if the animal was divided just between her and Corvin’s family, they wouldn't be able to finish it entirely. She was happy to share it. She let go and went to leave when the ”butcher” came up to take the buck.

Sirus waited for her to lead the way, before following her quietly. As the half wolf passed through the village, the shadows seemed to deepen and reach out to him whenever he passed.

Gwen looked back a couple of times as she walked on, to make sure that the wolf man was still following. When she noticed the shadows moving towards him, she raised a brow but didn't comment. She may not have had any magic herself but she wasn't unfamiliar with it. ”What’s your name?” she asked, realizing she should have asked sooner. ”As long as we’re here, you can call me Gwen.”

"Sirus" he answered softly, "I take it you're the girl I've been sent for?" he questioned. He already knew it was her, but he wanted to hear it from her.

@StarryWolfy flash_onCrazy Procrastinator

"Exactly." said Sirus. "You need to learn to control your reactions better if you want to stay hidden here. Your father is bound to send others if I don't do what he asked."

@StarryWolfy flash_onCrazy Procrastinator

"You have until I send word before he starts looking again." he said softly, "And I know he wants you back, but whether or not that happens is a decision I have yet to make."

She sighed with another nod. ”I understand that. He needs his precious little princess back to get married to some stupid stuck up prince so he can rule while I get pushed to side.” she growled out at the thought.

"Maybe, maybe not." said Sirus, "But I can see where you're coming from." he hummed softly. "But what about you? You certainly have made a place for yourself here rather quickly.."

Gwen sighed, trying to push the thoughts away, a small smile coming to her face at the change of topic. ”Yeah… I guess so. I mean, I just made it to the rank of hunter but I want to be a warrior. It’s already taken a lot of hard work but I enjoy it.” she said honestly.

(Not sure I'm familiar with whatever book that is, (I've got two completely different ones that popped up in my head) also I think it's be cool if the village was nomadic, we could play around a bit with different events?)
(Also, I wasn't quite expecting Sirus' attitude towards the situation when I pulled him out, (My charas often do what they want not what I want them to) so we're gonna have to think up extra conflict to keep this going, (possibly other bounty hunters coming for the girl?))

(Also apologies for not responding, I just dropped out of highschool (with parental permission) because distance learning wasn't working, so I'm in the middle of transitioning my schedule back to homeschooling. (i was homeschooled previously))

(Ok. Umm, I was actually referencing the Kevin Costner Robin Hood movie… With what they did in the forest but I can work with Nomadic style. It will give us more to work with for the plot.)
(Lol In my opinion that means you made a great character. I have yet to make one of my own that feels like they make their own choices. … Not a bad idea.)

@StarryWolfy flash_onCrazy Procrastinator

(Ohhhhh! That makes more sense… My mind jumped to the Lord of the Thieves, (a story about a group of homeless kids in venice) and The Thief, (A high fantasy story about a thief with a name I can't spell)
(It's really not hard to do that really, just think about what the character would do in this situation before you think about what you want them to do. Usually you can come up with a few different options for how that character would act, (taking into account past experience, values, morals, and current motivations and goals) and then you choose one as an author.)
(Thanks for understanding!)
