"Fiiiine…" Larkin reluctantly opened up his laptop so he could start his assignments. "I've got a lot of stuff to do."
"Fiiiine…" Larkin reluctantly opened up his laptop so he could start his assignments. "I've got a lot of stuff to do."
"Well, what shall we do first then?" Samul shifted some, wrapping an arm loosely around Larkin's waist.
"I should probably start with math to get it over with…" Larkin huffed a bit as he opened up an assignment.
"Mm…" Samul smiled, resting his chin against Larkin's shoulder as he looked at the math.
Larkin started on the assignment, honestly just trying to get it done as soon as possible. He really hated math, after all.
Samul offered help where he could- he wasn't too good at math, himself. Still they could work through it together.
Eventually, Larkin managed to get through the first assignment and moved on to another. "Ughhh… why do they give me so much to do?"
"Because, they want more of our money," Samul said for a moment, looking over.
"It's stupid… we don't have that much money…" Larkin huffed indignantly as he kept working.
"Yeah… but that's capitalism." Samul sighed, kissing Larkin's cheek.
"Yeah, yeah…" Larkin fell quiet for a bit as he worked, trying his best to focus.
Samul fell back into his own work. He kept close to Larkin, occasionally looking over to make sure he was doing good.
Larkin managed to get through a couple of assignments before he started getting really antsy. He hated sitting still for so long, and he was obviously struggling to hide his discomfort, but he also wanted to get the work done as soon as he could.
Samul looked up when he saw Larkin starting to struggle.
"Wanna move spots?" the man brought up. He'd get Larkin to move around, some way.
"Hmm? O-Oh, yeah… that might be a good idea." Larkin hesitated before getting up out of the bed.
Samul stood as well, smiling some.
"Here, why don't we head to the kitchen for a bit for a snack?"
"Mmm… what snack?" Larkin asked, compliantly following Samul into the kitchen.
"Something sweet," Samul said with a soft smile.
"Hmm… alright." Larkin got himself set up at the table and then started tailing Samul around the kitchen.
Samul smiled some, reaching into a hidden spot when he got to the kitchen.
"How does some candy sound?"
"Sure!" Larkin whined happily when Samul pulled out the candy, tail wagging with excitement.
Samul tossed a piece to Larkin, smiling some.
"Here!"
"Thanks!" Larkin stuck the candy in his mouth and sat down to get to work again.
Samul smiled. He grabbed his own candy, moving to sit with Larkin, humming some.
Larkin kept quietly working on his homework for a while, occasionally sighing with exasperation. "Ughh… this is taking so long…"
"I know, sweetie," Samul said, looking up. "But we're getting through our work, yeah?
"Yeahhh…" Larkin sighed and huffed a bit. "Can we do something fun after I'm done?"
"Sure thing, dear, like what?" Samul leaned over, hugging Larkin and kissing his cheek.
"I dunnoooo… we can't go outside, so we'll have to figure out something to do here…" Larkin sighed softly.
"Well, what about a board game?" Samul smiled some, leaning to kiss Larkin's cheek.
