He chuckles a little bit when Satsu took the hot chocolate, his eyes gentle before he returned to cooking. "The food should be done in about ten minutes." He smiled as he cleaned up a little and set out some plates. It was nice seeing Satsu smile. He noticed the room heated up a little and he chuckles before serving up dinner. "Hope you're hungry!" He calls happily.
Satsu waddled into the kitchen and grabbed his plate, and the silverware with his mouth. He then waddled back over to the couch and put his plate on the table, dropped the silverware and looked over at Axel. "Can we watch Spirited Away?"
Axel grabbed his food as well, trying his hardest not to 'awe' at the sight of the other. It was just so cute and precious. "Of course we can watch Spirited Away." He settles down beside Satsu and cuddles himself into a blanket.
Satsu unfurled the blanket and spread it over the two, and began to eat. "Your cooking is spectacular as always." He smiled as he ate, sipping his hot cocoa too,waiting for Axel to prepare the movie.
Axel sets up the movie, turning a soft pink when the other complimented his food. He always got so happy when people complimented his food. He nuzzles back into his blanket as he watched the movie. He gave a satisfied sigh, just glad to finally rest.
Satsu soon got lost in the movie and went silent, nibbling away at the food. Luckily his natural warmth meant that food never got cold. Also a curse though for things like icecream. He eventually finished as he sighed. "Now see, why can't I have someone love me like the river God?" Satsu had never had a boyfriend due to the fact he was demiromantic and asexual, but a boy could dream. "Sooo cuuuute." He sighed as he put his face in his hands.
Calum smiled as the movie finished, happily full with food and just relaxing by his friend. "It was pretty cute." He murmured softly, leaning back a little and giving a content sigh. He wanted to tell Satsu, but Calum was fearful of saying anything. He hummed and turned his attention to his friend. "I love that movie."
"I do too. But Studio Ghibli in general is really good." He was all cuddled into Axel's side,a content warmth about him as he nuzzled in closer, oblivious to Axel and his feelings. "But now I want Chinese ramen noodles,with all that meat and veggies? Sounds really good. But we already ate,which tasted amazing." He was still cradling his mug in his hands as he spoke, and took another sip. It was only about half full now,him forgetting about the hot cocoa having gotten caught up in the movie. "Whaddya wanna do now?"
He nods in agreement. "I grew up with Studio Ghibli. It's always been one of my favorites." He kept Satsu close, gently running his hand through Satsu's hair. He always loved moments like this. It made him feel safe, warm…. "Maybe we can make it for lunch tomorrow?" He smiled a little bit and gazes at the ceiling. "We could play some games? Talk? Just hang out? Watch more movies…" He hummed in thought.
He nuzzled into the head scritches. "Yes please." He said with a nod. "Ramen for lunch made by you might as well be heaven. And don't be light on the spice this time. Anygays,how about Lofi music and Minecraft?" He asked, looking up at Axel, used to him being a little overly affectionate.
He smiled and laughed. "My cooking isn't that good, but I love the idea of cooking some homemade ramen." He loved it when people liked his food. It made him all bubbly on the inside. "Lofi and Minecraft sounds like heaven right about now." He smiles and plays with his hair a little more.
He shrugged. "You're a good cook. Deal with it." He got up and grabbed his switch,and hooked it up to the TV, and after messing around with the settings, got it into two player on minecraft. "Set up the music for me?"
He shrugged a little bit, "If you say so." He walks over to the blue tooth and hooks up his phone before setting up their playlist. "Here we go." He hummed quietly as he settles down on the couch and relaxes a little bit. "Already done." He chuckles quietly and grabs one of the controls.
He smiled and began to wander around. They already had a world, and the two were slowly building a whole gay castle on survival mode. Satsu did a lot of the building, and currently he was working on one of the final towers. There was a low rumble of thunder which made Satsu flinch. It was going to rain soon.
He smiled at the other and began to wander around as well, working on the castle. He heard the low rumble of thunder and paused before standing. He walks around the house, making sure everything was shut and locked. He turns down the lights and turned on the fireplace. "Here we go." He turned up the music a little louder before gently pulling Satsu into his lap. "Here…" He mumbles quietly before returning to the game. This was their usual ritual whenever there was a storm.
Satsu blushed blue and smiled,snuggling in. "Thank you. I hope it doesn't rain too much…" He said as he watched it fall out the window, before shaking his head and returning to building,humming to the music a bit. It was a specific station they always listened to, Lofi Oldies With Fire,and it was always live with no ads. The whole mood was snuggly and warm,and so his warmth was that of a heated blanket,feeling really relaxed.
He nods slowly, however, he knew that based on the sound of the rain and the storm, it would last a while. But that was fine. They were safe in here. Axel was very relaxed at the moment, the warmth of the other easing him slightly. He played for a little while and nuzzled closer to Satsu. He hummed along with the music, just feeling at utter peace.
They played for a good hour or so before they got bored,and the rain was starting to make Satsu sleepy as he yawned and stretched a bit in Axel's lap.
He was getting rather tired himself, the warmth of the other making him slowly ease. He nuzzled into the others shoulder and gave a happy little sigh. "Do you wanna go to bed?" He asks curiously. He was tired and wanted nothing more than curl around Satsu and sleep. He hummed quietly, his eyes shutting.
Satsu nodded gently as he continued to play, and after he finished what he is doing he turned it off. He refused to get out of Axel's lap, snuggling in more as he put his controller to the side.
Axel smiled a little bit as he felt Satsu nod, finishing what he was doing and setting his controller down. He hummed quietly and gently picked Satsu up, carrying him to Axel's room. He tucks Satsu in before going and getting into more comfortable clothes, just some sweats and a tanktop. He settles back into bed and gazes at the other for a moment.
"I am so glad I'm wearing comfy clothes. I don't feel like getting out of my blanket burrito." He says with a soft smile,all snuggled up on top of the blankets, before he took off his blue glasses and set them on the side table.
Axel laughs a little bit at the others words. "I don't blame you." He hummed quietly and adjusts himself in bed. This was nice. Then again, it was always nice to have the other over, always nice to spend time with him and talk to him. Satsu was Axel's closest friend.
Satsu sighed as he wiggled over to Axel and put his head under his friends chin. "I'm glad I get to stay the whole weekend." There was a happy warm tone in his voice as he said this.
(Bump!)
He nods and smiles as well, ran his hand through Satsu's hair. "I'm glad that you get to stay here the whole weekend." He murmured. He always eased when the other was here, and his wretched anxiety was rarely present when he had Satsu with him.
He nuzzled into the head scritches, a smile on his face as he closed his eyes. He then reached out of the blanket and put back on his special gloves. "In case I have a night mare and flame in the night." He explained yet again. He then unfurled from the blanket burrito and got under all the blankets, and cuddled up. "Turn off the lights? I'm not ready for bed quiet yet but, I would prefer it to be dark." He said softly.
Axel was content like this, his eyes soft as he gazed at his friend. He nods slowly at the sight of the gloves. That made sense, afterall. He hummed quietly and slowly stood up, stretching as he wanders over to the lights. Unlike Satsu, Axel didn't have any superpowers. He was just dull, boring Axel. He sighed and turned of the lights before walking back to the bed and snuggling under the covers. Yes, this was much more comfortable.
Satsu cuddled in and went silent as the dark fell over them, closing his eyes. It seemed he was asleep but really he was just enjoying the warmth and comfortable silence. He took a few deep breaths and relaxed even more,not sure what to talk about.
Axel was quiet as the other slowly fell asleep, his hands trembling as he curled closer to his friend. He'd always do this, rub Satsu's back until he was asleep. It was comforting for him to curl around Satsu and just… hold him. He waited for a while before slowly tracing the soft phrase I love you' on his back. He kept his eyes closed, scared really. He was sure that Satsu was asleep. He had to be, right?
