((Yeah probably lmao))
He shook his head. “It’s okay. It’s really not that bad.” But over the course of even a few days, it would get worse and more frequent. Simon would begin to get suspicious. So really, Astral didn’t have that much time left with him like this.
Astral panicked a moment. Should he just come clean, and tell Simon what was going on? He- he didn't know what to do. He wanted to have as much time with Simon as he could, but he… he didn't want Simon to think he didn't regret what he had done, either, because the god did, he regretted all of this…
Simon was completely oblivious, he didn’t have a clue. And he just looked so…happy. Sitting there with his head resting on Astral’s chest, and a soft smile on his face, he looked so much happier and healthier than he’d been when they’d first met. All of that progress would disappear.
Astral looked down at Simon, hiding his turbulence away. He'd… he'd tell Simon, but not now. Not yet. He held the man close, smiling down at him gentl.
“Soooooo what do we want to do today?” Simon asked, looking up at him with that same smile. “It’s only like, what, 11 am?” He guessed, trying to remember when he’d even woken up.
((Also just a heads up I won’t be on for most of the night))
(Ah okie!)
"Yeah, just past eleven," Astral confirmed. "And I'm not quite sure what we will do. Anything, in particular, you have in mind?" Astral smiled back. Simon was just so… pure, right now. Astral had already ruined everything, though.
He shook his head. “No not really. I’m fine with doing anything as long as we can do it together.” He’d spent a lot of days here by himself, but for once he didn’t really want to just be left alone.
Astral felt his hands slipping to hold onto Simon's, thinking a moment.
"Well, perhaps I could show you around some? You've been here for quite some time, but I don't think you ever got a proper tour."
He gasped dramatically. “You’re right, I haven’t been given a proper tour!!” He exclaimed, laughing softly. He squeezed Astral’s hand quickly, smiling.
(Eeeee)
Astral couldn't help but laugh along with Simon. He was just so… contagious, with his tone and disposition. Astral stood, scooping Simon up in his arms playfully.
"Well, then, we'll just have to fix that!"
“Okay!” He exclaimed, practically beaming at this point. He let out a small shriek of surprise when Astral picked him up, but seemed to like it, as he quickly began to laugh again.
Astral laughed some at Simon's response to being picked up, holding him close. He smiled down at the human, holding him close as they started out to the palace.
"So, which kinds of rooms would you like to see first?"
(I just read 'shriek' as 'Shrek' and I'm cackling)
“What type of rooms do you even have?” He asked, looking around. “There must be a lot, this place is huge!!”
"Well, there are lots! Music rooms, libraries, a garden, most anything you could think of." Astral chuckled some, turning to hear down the first hall.
He gasped. “Oh my gosh can we go to the library??? Pretty please!”
Astral chuckled some, nodding.
"Of course! Next stop, the library!" The god smiled some, heading down the almost maze of halls. Finally, they came to large, carved double doors, Astral opening them with one hand.
Inside was the library, as promised, massive soaring bookshelves and a fire pit to one side.
“Woah….” he said softly, looking around the wide room. “This is amazing!” He exclaimed quietly, a wide smile appearing on his face. “So many books….”
Astral grinned, still holding Simon close.
"Mm… so, which kind should we look at first? There's almost every book you could imagine in here…" The god smiled, walking into the room fully.
“I bet! Or at least I’d hope so considering the size of this place.” He seemed very very excited about the room. He squirmed a bit in Astral’s arms, the only reason being his enthusiasm. “Can you put me down for a sec, please?” He asked quickly, looking up at Astral hopefully.
"Sure thing!" Astral set Simon down, grinning.
"If you need help reaching anything I'll be here to help." The god stayed by Simon's side, hand on his shoulder a moment.
He nodded happily, practically buzzing with excitement. He then darted around the room, stopping to look at things briefly before darting off to another corner of the room, similar to what he’d done at the zoo. He just had a child-like excitement about him.
Astral leaned against one of the massive bookshelves, grinning. Simon just looked so… happy. He loved it all, he never wanted it to end.
Eventually, he saw something that he wanted to grab that was unfortunately out of his reach. He turned around, looking over at Astral, a soft pout on his face. “Could you get that for me?” He asked, pointing at the book in question.
((I love how Simon’s actually tall just not compared to Astral lol))
(Mhm lol, that's what you get for living with a seven foot tall god)
"Sure thing!" Astral made his way over, reaching up to easily reach the book and offer it to Simon. He grinned, chuckling.
"Good choice," the god noted.
He smiled up at the god, taking the book from him carefully. “Thank you! I really like this book, I just haven’t gotten the chance to read it in awhile.” He said, gently caressing the book’s cover.
"Well, I'm glad you do now…" Astral smiled, lightly putting his hand on Simon's shoulder.
“Me too.” He said, leaning into the god’s side. He was so comfortable around Astral now. How much would all of their interactions change once Simon found out? It was hard to tell right now. But there was no way Simon would be cuddled into Astral’s side like how he was now.
