Vaughn looked over at the girl, a dark brow arched in question as he leaned back in his chair.

Paige eyed the girl suspiciously, not knowing if she should trust anyone outside of her current group.

"And more importantly, why were you eavesdropping?" Artemis said, overcoming her initial surprise.

Phoebe sat in the library, a book in her lap. She was reading up on something she heard in history class. It had actually interested her, the only thing that would. Not that school was necessarily boring, just the way it was taught made it dreadful.

(Vaughn and Paige would be kind of cute lol, I was already going to try and form some sort of bond between them.)

(I'm totally fine with this ship I was planning on her trusting him quickly from the very beginning)

(I just realized that if the ship sails, it would be super awkward because of the height difference)

"I was in the area and your conversation was intriguing." Julia said simply.

"That's rude." Paige pointed out, leaning against the table.

"Yeah, it is a bit rude." Artemis was more on guard now. What if this new gal was a snitch?
(This is nothing against your character personally.)

"Why is it rude? I want to beat the sh*t out of Reid too."

"Because you were listening in on a conversation invited. That's why."

"Okay, okay, no need to flip out!"

"I'm not."

(Phoebe and Reid meet up again? Or wait until later?)

(Tiny bit later.)

Paige sighed. "Listen, if we're going to meet the crazy b**ch, we should do it now. I want to get this done before lunch."

"Sounds good."

Vaughn wanted to groan and correct them, but he bit his tongue and pushed up from where he was sitting.

"Maybe lay off the B word. There are guards nearby." Artemis said, standing up.

Paige shrugged. "Sorry, I don't really know what else to refer to her as. I don't know her name."

“Her name is Phoebe,” Vaughn said, voice a bit more impatient than he had meant it to be.

Paige stood up as well, rolling her eyes at Vaughn. "Okay then, lets go find Phoebe."

Vaughn resisted the urge to scoff. He walked to the cafeteria door, pushing them open and stepping out into the hall. He didn’t look back to see if the others were following.

Julia followed. She had nothing better to do.
