John tilts his head to the side then murmurs softly "I have my stuff all ready for my departure….I'm now intent on spending a large portion of my day with you. To say goodbye…" John releases his grip on nym and places his hands on the table. He stared at them for a long moment before sighing
"I don't like that bundle of words. This is not a goodbye. I mean, hell we just got engaged." Nym raises her left hand and places it under her chin and her elbow on the table. Smiles widely "Hmmm, pier or amusement park?"

John nods then he shifts slightly in his seat so he was facing nym as she spoke I have actually never been to either of those places. How about you pick love? And I know it's not a goodbye, but I will be gone for a good chunk of time"
Nym makes a face "Stop that, I'd rather save the somber topic for later. As for picking one of the places I'm not sure that's why I asked you silly."
One of the baristas comes by with our order. Nym looks up for a brief moment and thanks them, then looks back at John
John nods and lets the subject die and he thinks to himself for a moment "How about the amusement park, I think I want to set a wager as well. For I think I can win at more games then you can eh"
Nym almost snorts "You're probably right, I think you can too. So the bet is pointless." Gives John a big smile, then reaches over for her tea and biscuit sandwich
John laughs then pokes nyms shoulder playfully "I could, but you never know what might happen" John laughs again then he turns toward his plate and begins to eat. Chewing carefully with each bite
"You say that like you'd try to throw the bet. What would you bet anyway? Money means basically nothing to you and me." Eats almost just as slowly, and takes a,sip of tea. Makes a face and grabs the sugar and drowns some in the tea. Takes another sip and becomes somewhat satyisfied
John purses his lips then a grin begins to tug at his lips once an idea hits him "Instead of games it can be a contest! However many rides and or prizes you can snag makes you the victor. The loser will have to…hmm….The loser will have to face their number one fear at the amusement park" John puts his silverware down after eating half of what he got suddenly feeling no interest in food now
"Hun, I'm not afraid of anything at amusement parks. So how would that work if I lose?" Nym picks up his fork and takes a bite of John's food
John laughs as he watches nym take a bite of his food "You're afraid of heights if I recall correctly love. I think a Ferris wheel ride is a fair enough punishment for the loser"
Nym's eyes widen, then she speaks softly with a shaky voice "I'm not afraid of heights… I'm afraid of falling." Nym closes her eyes and takes a deep breath "I've been on Ferris wheels countless times, not a fair punishment."
"I was merely throwing out an idea love. Do you want to know what would honestly scare me at an amusement park?" John reaches out and touches nyms hand as he spoke wanting to give her at least a fair advantage on him
looks at John "What might that be?"
"I'm afraid of dark places haha….So a tunnel ride would be awful" John trails off slightly embarrassed at admitting his odd little fear
Nym reaches out a hand to gently caress his face, then sighs "Fine, I'll go through with your little game."
John leans into nyms touch slightly then he grins feeling a slight rush of excitement "You have too….I'm just trying to up the excitement today"
"What?!" pulls hand away

John frowns then quickly corrects himself "I mean don't! Damn it…." John slaps his face and sighs

Nym knits her brows in a confused expression "Hey, don't hit yourself"

John holds his hands out in front of them and makes a dramatic expression "What are these hands for?"
(Ha, I'm sure she's understanding of slip ups.)
Nym leans in slightly and speaks so only John could hear "I would tell you specifically, but I don't want to cause in issue south of that smile." Nym winks, then grins widely and speaks at a normal volume "But besides that, they are to hold me close. At least that's what I thought."

A surprised expression flits across Johns' face then he laughs "I-I am now quite curious….And yes, of course, that is what they are for and more" John winks then he pulls nym closer placing a kiss on her cheek before mumuring softly "I'm sure I might find out later what these hands can specifically do for you"
Nym bites her lip and blushes "Mmmhmm well, I'm ready to go to this amusement park. How about you?" Nym flags down the waitress for the bill
John laughs at nyms blush then his eyes trail down to her lip now awfully distracting to him "I…am absolutely to go to the amusement park love" John then snaps his eyes up to keep from further distracting himself
Nym's eyes flash a light green as the vines on her arm illuminate. The bill arrives and Nym pays in cash a lives a tip. She grabs her tea and stands up, holding out a hand for John "Come on let's go."
John hummed softly in contentment as his arms slightly mimicked the vines that appeared on hers then he gets up reaching his hand out twining his fingers with hers before speaking with a slight laugh "Okay speedy I'm getting up Nym"

Nym smiles brightly as she sees John's arm mimic her own, which she couldn't see "Oh shut it, John." Nym giggles and kind of steps behind John and holds onto his forearm while keeping their fingers interlaced

John smiles then leads nym to the door opening it for her. As he held nyms hand he subtly traced circles on her palm "I could shut it….But you'll have to make me"
