"Oh!" Asra made a face, somewhere between a sheepish smile and an almost self-aimed grimace. "My apologies. I got entirely too excited at the prospect of new people to talk to, and unfortunately forgot most of my manners. Such is the price of moving a million miles an hour." She said, huffing a small laugh and tapping her temple. "How should I go about this, in a way that is less…overwhelming?"
He laughed faintly. "Ah, well…I'm not really sure." He replied, shrugging his shoulders.
Once Victor was assuredly gone, Henry slumped down in his chair, letting out a loud sigh.
“For the love of the Church, that felt tedious. I’m getting old.” he laughed to himself. He should go find Dorian, or get in contact with Utterson about the will, or something else productive. His better half never even gave a single hint as to how to transform into him, and the risk of turning into Hyde was too great when even the tiniest bit of salt could trigger a transformation.
He decided to instead fill out the forms to get Victor registered as a member of the Society, as well as deal with getting a few people to figure out this man’s past, enough to assure he wasn’t some spy. Until then, he’d probably be kept under close watch, just in case.
"That's alright." Asra assured Victor, taking a step back. "I'll leave you be for now, then. Do feel free to track me down, for a companion, tour guide, or even just someone to get a bite to eat with. I pay every time, so I'm the ideal meal companion." She shook her head, laughing at her own joke.
Victor laughed faintly. "Oh, alright." He replied. "Thank you." He said, running a hand through his hair.
