Astral grinned.
"Okay, then it's settled!" He hummed happily. "Do you think you'd like to talk to Mia now, while the paintings dry?"
Astral grinned.
"Okay, then it's settled!" He hummed happily. "Do you think you'd like to talk to Mia now, while the paintings dry?"
He nodded. “Yeah I’ll probably go do that.”
((Bruh the only reason Simon’s not gonna mistreat the child is because of his own childhood))
(Oh nuuuuuu)
Astral nodded some.
"I'll clean up here," he said with a smile.
“Thank you..for everything.” He said with a smile. His words were so…genuine.
((Literally the only reason. If it wasn’t for that, Simon would probably hate them completely))
(Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu)
(And yes I would love it if they did do that)
Astral offered a soft smile in turn.
"You're welcome," he said. "For everything."
((It’d be great honestly lol))
Simon smiled at him one last time before heading to talk to Mia.
Mia was waiting, right where she had been left.
"How was your day?" She asked. She was just glad to not be alone anymore, to be honest.
“Surprisingly….actually really good?” He was still a bit surprised about it himself. It wasn’t like Simon went in to it expecting to have a bad day, he just didn’t expect to genuinely have that much fun.
"Oh? Why surprising?" Mia smiled some to herself, giggling a bit.
“I don’t know I just wasn’t expecting to actually enjoy it that much. We had a lot of fun..” he smiled softly, sitting down on the bed.
"Oh? I'm glad you did!" Mia felt a bit left out, but it didn't matter. It wasn't her place anymore, anyway.
"Wanna tell me what you did?"
“Well we went to the store and then we went to go feed the stray cats that I normally take care of. We also went to his temple…that part was a little weird honestly.”
"Awww, that's so sweet!" she said of the cats. She thought a moment as to what to say of the second part.
"Yes, it can be. Who did you meet there?"
“Umm well we saw a lot of the priestesses just in passing and we briefly met with the high priestess.” He explained, leaning over and picking Mia up.
"Ah…" Mia was more than happy to be picked up.
"She's a nice woman," Mia commented. It wasn't like she had a crush or anything.
((Oop?))
“I dunno, I didn’t really get to talk to her that much. The whole place kind of just gave me weird vibes, but that’s probably because I’m not religious.” He shrugged.
(I mean- they were bothing living in the house at the same time–)
Mia giggled a bit.
"Even though your living with a god right now?"
((Honestly we stan-))
“Yeah. Sounds pretty weird when you say it like that.” He laughed a bit. “I kind of just forget that he’s a god, you know? My brain hasn’t quite wrapped around that fact yet.”
(They were really cute until)
"I see. Well, it might be an easy thing to do, if you don't notice the giant glowing sun above his head, or how he's seven foot tall and glows," Mia teased lightly. She giggled again.
(We hate Astral <3)
(oh dear)
“Ouch no need to be rude!” He said, but his tone was light and happy, and he laughed along with her.
((Time to unstan Astral for literally the millionth time <3))
Mia giggled some more looking up at Simon.
"Well, at least you had a good time. Anything else happen?"
(Mhm)
((Well damn))
“Ummmm….not that I can think of. But we did have a really nice time.” He smiled, laying back down on the bed with a happy sigh.
(Yeah… Mia isn't traumatized at all)
"That's good, then! Honestly, it's nice to see you so happy, and I'm sure Astral is too." He'd been in a good mood recently, and it made Mia worry a bit. Had he finally done it..?
(( :’) ))
“It’s nice to be happy…” he replied. If he had any knowledge though of why Astral was treating him so kindly..well his happiness would’ve been very short lived.
"Yeah, it is…" Mia was still smiling just a bit. To be honest, she was happy for Simon, at least a bit. He was being treated better than probably anyone else.
He checked the time. “It’s pretty late already…I guess I should just go to sleep then.” He said with a shrug.
"Okay then! Sweet dreams, yeah?" Mia hummed softly to herself.
