Saffi looked down at her toe and frowned. A red spot was forming.

"Milo, what was the date that Greece was attacked by the Italians?" Miss Carthy asks. Milo perks, "October 28th the Italian minister in Athens brings the written ultimatum, which basically demands that the Greeks let the Italian army enter and occupy the country or face their wrath." He says, fiddling with his pencil.

Saffi looks back at him, impressed. "Well then…" she whispers and looks back at the board.

Miss Carthy nods, blinking slightly, "Thank you, Milo. Any one want to add to that?"

Saffi shrugs. "On 28 October, Mussolini issued an ultimatum to Greece demanding the cession of Greek territory, which the Prime Minister of Greece, Ioannis Metaxas, rejected. The Italian army invaded Greece on 28 October, before the Italian ultimatum had expired," she said. "Yup…"

Milo nods, "Metaxas rejection of the Italian Ultimatum is celebrated every year in Greece as a National Holiday on October 28th as 'Ochi Day'." he says enthusiastically.

"Uh huh, I went there during the celebrations once. It's quite interesting," she added.

Miss Carthy claps her hands, "Well then. Well said." She smiles before returning to the lecture.

Saffi looks back at Milo and winks. She looks back at Miss Carthy, intrigued for the first time in a while.

Milo smiled at Saffi's back, his attention remaining on his teacher.

Saffi rests her chin on her hand. Chewing on her pencil eraser.

Milo takes a few more notes, including what his homework was before looking at the clock. Class would be over in a little while, and he had a meeting with his doctor that he had to take care of.

Raven took a few notes and wrote down her homework in her planner.

Saffi took out a book and started reading it below her desk so Miss Carthy couldn't see it.

"Alright class, you have a few minutes to do your homework. Do the day after tomorrow!" she calls. There was about 15 minutes left in class.

Raven started working on the homework.

Saffi didn't stop reading, I'll just do it tomorrow she thought

Milo hums as he sets to work on his homework.

Saffi closes her book and rests her head on her desk.

About five minutes to the bell ringing Milo packs his bag and walks towards the front of the class, "I have an excuse for leaving early." he says softly, handing his teacher the dismissal note. She nods, "Alright dear. Have a good day." Miss Casey places the note back in his hands. She gives him a reassuring glance. She was one of the few teachers that knew of his illness.

Saffi turned her head like a dog would. Hmmm she thought.

He nods and exits the classroom. He walks down the halls to his car and drives towards the hospital.

Saffi slid her work into her bag and organized it all. She stood up and threw out a piece of garbage.

Milo was quiet as he entered the hospital. He gives the lady at the front desk and sits down to wait.

Saffi was so tired she laid her head down and accidentally fell asleep
