“Mmm… is that so?” Melissa hummed, giggling as she nuzzled up against him. “I didn’t realize you loved me that much.”
“Mmm… is that so?” Melissa hummed, giggling as she nuzzled up against him. “I didn’t realize you loved me that much.”
"Mhmm~…" Lucas returned the nuzzles and tightly hugged Melissa. "I dooooo~…"
Melissa giggled more, wrapping her legs around him. “Mmm… I’ll have to take your word for it.” She hummed, kissing him a couple times before curling back up.
"Yep!" Lucas returned the kisses as well as he could and clung tightly to Melissa. "You're the best…"
“M’really not, but whatever you say, love.” Melissa hummed, resting her head on his chest again.
"I think you are, Mel… you're pretty great, you know." Lucas hummed softly to himself.
Melissa shrugged it off, looking up at him with a sweet smile. Curling up even more, she let out a soft sigh. “This is really nice…”
"Mhmm…" Lucas toyed with Melissa's hair a bit and peppered her cheeks with small kisses.
Melissa flushed, happily staying curled up besides him. “Mm… I like when you do that.” She grinned, chewing on her lip.
"Glad you like it, darling." Lucas murmured gently. "I love you…"
“Love you, too~” Melissa grinned, pressing a few soft kisses to his cheeks. “Mmm… what are we doing today?”
"Dunno, love… anything is fine with me. We can hang out here or go outside, or whatever you want…"
Melissa nodded, wrapping her arms around his waist. “Well… maybe we could try and go out today? I dunno, we probably need to finish homework.”
"Mmm… yeah. I hope to get at least most of my work done before break is over."
“That’s in a couple days… we really have to get it done.” Melissa sighed softly, starting to sit up. “Mm… thanks for a nice morning.”
"No problem, Mel…" Lucas gently kissed Melissa. "Maybe we can take our homework outside to work on it? Assuming it's not windy or too cold…"
Melissa nodded a little, stretching from her place on the floor. “Mm… sure. We could go out on the back deck, if you want.”
Lucas nodded as well. "Sure. Can't forget our coats, though… I'm sure it's chilly outside."
"I mean, there was still snow on the ground yesterday. There's no way it could have warmed up too quickly." Melissa hummed, leaning down to peck his cheek. "C'mon, we need to get up."
"Mmmmmmm…" Lucas still didn't seemed to be be pleased about being awake, but reluctantly sat up anyway. "Fiiiiine…"
Melissa gave him a half smile, reaching out for his hand. "Mm… I love you~" She stated softly, lacing their fingers together. "If… if it helps motivate you, I promise not to argue about eating breakfast…"
"I love you too, Mel… and that sounds like a good deal to me." He yawned and stretched, clambering out of the blanket fort with Melissa.
Melissa kept up the little smile, holding on tightly to his hand. "Alright… any idea what we… we need to eat?" Keeping her eyes on the floor, she quietly fidgeted with his hand once they were both standing outside the fort.
"Uh… we can make whatever you want." Lucas shrugged a bit. "Like eggs or toast or something."
Melissa glanced up at him, shrugging a little. “Eggs sound good.” She mumbled, glancing up at him.
"I'll work on that, then. How do you like your eggs cooked?" He asked.
"Scrambled?" Melissa offered in a soft tone, resting her chin on his shoulder. "Do you want me to do it?"
"I can do it unless you'd rather." Lucas shrugged a bit. "I don't mind."
"You sure? I just don't want you to feel like you have to." Melissa whispered still, arms wrapped around his waist from behind.
"I'm sure, Mel. It's not that much trouble." Lucas gently kissed Melissa's cheek and pulled a few eggs out of the fridge.
