Carla wandered around, it was boring.
"You idiot, you're the one who brought up prison! Be a little more logical!"
(@santanna???)
Tod smirks, but doesn't reply. Holly reminds him of a inhumanly brilliant detective; it weirds him out a little. His voice dropped down to a quiet level, he asks, "Come up with anything?"
Matt continued wandering, running a hand along one of the pristine white walls.
"No."
Tod nods. "'kay." He looks about. His class hadn't come down this way, so nothing is familiar. Besides the place being huge and new, the random doors and hallway openings make it a virtual labyrinth; at least the walls don't move, Tod thinks.
(sorry i just got home)
"So your name is Tod, right?"
"Yeah." Tod bites the inside of his lower lip a second before asking, although he knows the answer, "And you're Holly, right?"
"Yup."
"I'm Angela." She replied gently, remembering the steps to comfort a fragile person her dad taught her.
Step one; openly reassure them that it's okay to share, without force. She could practically hear his voice.
"Do you, want to talk about this?" Angela added nervously, she didn't want to mess this up.
"Only if you want."
//have to go rn
(Okay; catch you later.)
Tod nods. After a moment, "Do you like space?" Wow.
"Yes, I do." She said. "You know the key strategic weakness of the human race?"
Tod gives it a shot. "The fear of being judged?"
"The dead outnumber the living."
Tod shrugs. "Anything that exists relates to that. Time past is longer than the minutes that aren't made yet."
"But what if the dead were turned into weapons?"
"That'd be unfair." Tod replies. "For both the dead, and whoever you were fighting."
"But the dead don't remember. And viscous things will do anything for power."
(*Vicious)
"That'd be cruel." After a moment Tod shakes his head. "So, what TV show brought these questions on, or do you normally ponder the means that villains will destroy humanity with?"
"The latter one. I ponder a lot."
For some reason Holly's answer makes Tod smile. "That could be really harmful to mental health." He hopes she knows he's not entirely serious.
"Hey, I'll admit it, I have been in a psych ward."
(I'm off to eat supper; I'll probably be back later.)
Tod raises his eyebrows in surprise. "Serious? How old are you again?"
"A teen. It was…. I attempted suicide. I was there for a year, but my dad needed me….." She sniffed, holding back tears.
