Ignis looks at Hiro and nodded, "Yes. There is also a very dangerous form of corrupted water. It will eat away at the magic in you…and maybe do even worse than that."

hiro though for a minute. " what do you mean by worse"

Ignis looked down and lowered the crystal, "I could feel the water taking my magic. I could feel my fire and illusion dwindle. I could feel my very life drain. This water was a warning and a threat. My only question is what was Ignatius doing here? shouldn't he have known about the water?"

" my question is why are the still people in there. "

"They were part of our group. How they managed to get in there is out of my mind. Think you can manage to find them? Or the waters source? Avoid magic as best as you can. Once the water drains a small portion, there is nothing stopping it from killing you.

" yes sir " hiro said hiro walked back into the temple.

Kali zoned out for a while and didn't happen to hear ignis question only hearing what he had said in response. "hm? Well I don't know," she muttered sighing. my brains such a mess "how about my own ability to actually work for once?" She tched.

Ignis turned back to Kali, "Actually, I have learned something about this crystal that can truly help.!"

"yay. What is it?" The yay was a bit sarcastic bc I doubt she would rarely say yay genuinely.

Ignis smiled, "Last time this was used, we were unconscious. I believe the crystal resets our magical and elemental properties while adding on to our physiology. In English terms, good as new afterwards."

"buttttt we still get knocked unconscious?' she asked him.

Ignis laughs, "A little dizzy but no. Last one was an original crystal, this one is a modified alternative. It works just the same, but less negative side effects."

"well that's a plus, I guess." She sighed. "let's get this over with then, before something bad happens to them."

Ignis takes Kali's hand and places it on the crystal, "You have to channel your energy into the crystal, as I will do the same."

"okay." She huffed not pulling away from his hand as he set hers on the Crystal. She focused her energy, glancing up at ignis.

Noel started to moan, “Aaaah, nooo! Ali, it feels like cold liquid in my hands.”
He turned, seeing the light getting dimmer and dimmer. He frowned and sighed. “I don’t know what to do. We’re not Light elementals any more than we are Darkness.”
“Wait- then how did you make this in the first place?”
“Oh,” it was hard to see his face now, but his eyes squinted, thinking. “I guess I just sort of thought about it in terms of molecules and photons. I thought maybe if enough air molecules surrounded a group of photons, they would just bounce all over the place, unable to escape, and create the ball of light.”
“Interesting… o- ah!” The light finally went out, and the siblings felt something like mist spray their clothes and skin as it dissipated.

"well that's just great. Don't expect me to be able to hear or see anything your saying until we get out of here." Evan grumbles, sounding a bit more like Kali then his upbeat self.
"Sorry sorry, I'm just really upset at being partially deaf," he sighed practically laying his head in Alister lap unconsciously.

Ignis channeled his fire into the crystal as the crystal broke in their hands. It didn't do much harm, but the last knocked them back on their butt. Ignis felt a rush of power heal his every bone in his body.

Kali stumbled falling, she just kinda disapeared, she shadow traveled to evan Alister and noel, able to see through the darkness she noticed evan laying in Alister's lap and smirked a little bit. She put an elbow on Alister's shoulder and snapped in front of his face.

Ignis appeared inside the temple's library. He got up from the floor and was surprised to see the rom empty. Every shelf was missing and not a book in sight. Ignis looked at his hands and saw darkness flowing around him. He could even hear a voice echo, "Ignis. How long you have come…"

Alister had been stuttering, trying to ask why Evan was laying on his lap, and Noel had been snickering at them, despite the situation.
Then he felt something on his shoulder, and he jumped. “Who’s there?”

"it's Kali." She snapped, and immediately some of the darkness cleared away so they could somewhat see each other.
"Stop being lovebirds, we need to meet up with ignis."
Evan quickly got up when Alister jumped and then he saw Kali and jumped as well. "Kali!" He shouted out on instinct. "I can't hear anything, but I'm assuming you want to meet up with ignis."
"I, yes." She sighed.

“I mean, I didn’t mean to be lovebirds…” Alister mumbled.
Noel stood. “What happened to you guys? We couldn’t hear you anymore, and then Evan saw the weird water, oil, whatever, and he drank it-”
“And he tried to open the doors, but he couldn’t, and then his powers stopped working.” Alister finished, standing as well. “Where’s Ignis?”

"hell if I know, probably back somewhere we just escaped." She sighed. She glares at evan. "idiot why did you drink it?"
"I was thirsty and curious…"
"…."
"Yeah …." He chuckled nervously. "let's go find ignis."

Ignis turned in every direction, attempting to search for the source of the voice. "I have watched to turn, kill, suffer, love, protect, and achieved so much. You can remember these halls, can't you? This was her home. I couldn't let anyone touch it. Not even me" Ignis then recognized the voice, Ignatius. He then proceeded to the door, but he wasn't able to touch the door. As he reached, it went through. So he accidently tripped and fell trough into the main hall. Was this darkness? was it doing this to him?

kali rolled her eyes, she pushed evan into alister and noel, before shadow travelling them inside.
"ignis?" nope, wrong room.
next room. "ignis?" nope wrong again..
the next room. "Ignis?" nope wrong again, getting closer though. IGnis could probably here them.
"IGNIS." she huffed yelling out. "uuuggghhhh."
