Derlik flicked some dried blood off his finger, sitting down on the boulder.
"How are you doing?"
Derlik flicked some dried blood off his finger, sitting down on the boulder.
"How are you doing?"
He shrugged faintly. Did it even matter how he felt?
He shrugged faintly. Did it even matter how he felt?
Nik let out a breath. Calm. Calm. He was calm.
"Please, Nik."
"Please what?" He replied.
"Please what?" He replied.
"Don't- don't just shrug me off." Derlik sighed softly. Right back to it, he saw.
He shrugged faintly, closing his eyes.
He shrugged faintly, closing his eyes.
"See–! You did it again…" Derlik sighed, laying down. Twili had shifted to her wolf form, laying on the ground with Smoke.
Nik shook his head slightly. "I don't have anything to say." He replied simply.
Derlik let out a long sigh.
"I… Fine, then."
He took a deep breath, running his hands through his hair and wondering if or when Derlik would ask about the ex again.
"I'm not going to let it drop, you know," Derlik said calmly.
He glanced up. "Let what drop?" He replied.
"Finding were your ex lives." Derlik wasn't going to let them get away with what they did to Nik.
He frowned. "Why?" He asked, looking away.
"Because. He can't get away with hurting you like that." Derlik let out a breath.
"It doesn't matter." He replied quietly.
"Yes, it does." Derlik looked over at Nik.
He shook his head. "It… really doesn't."
"And why is that?" Derlik let out a breath.
"Because it doesn't." He replied, shaking his head a little.
"Well, it does to be." Derlik raised an eyebrow. Nik was talking in circles.
"So?" He replied, shaking his head a little. "It's just a scar, why do you care?"
"Because, it was someone else marking you." Derlik looked over at Nik, pointing to his wrist and the oh so present mark there.
"That's The only one you should have."
Nik shook his head a little bit, closing his eyes. He rubbed his forehead with a hand, sighing faintly.
Derlik looked up at the sky again.
"I'll keep asking. Over and over. I'm not going to stop until I find out where that bastard is."
(gtg sorry)
Nik sighed. "It's not like you're any different." He said quietly.
(okay, night!)
"Yeah, well… I'm trying, okay?" Derlik spoke softly. "I'm not… Used to playing by the rules."
