"Sounds good to me." Lucas stuck a forkful of pancake in his mouth. "Mm… great as always, Mel."
"Sounds good to me." Lucas stuck a forkful of pancake in his mouth. "Mm… great as always, Mel."
“Thank you, darling.” Melissa hummed softly, eating quietly for a couple minutes. “Is there anything you want to do today?”
"Not really, no. I'm happy to do just about anything." Lucas shrugged.
Melissa nodded, clearing her plate before getting up. “Alright, if you’re sure.” She hummed softly, rinsing her plate before dropping it in the dishwasher.
"Mhmm." Lucas did the same, kissing Melissa softly after he'd put his plate away. "I love you, Mel…"
Melissa smiles gently, resting her head on his shoulder. “I love you too… so much.”
"You wanna go do something now?" He asked softly.
“Like what, love?” Melissa asked softly, arms loosely wrapped around him. “I’m happy to do whatever, but I don’t really have anything I want to do.”
"Me either…" Lucas sighed softly. "We can hang out in the fort until we think of something?"
“Mm, sounds like a good plan.” Melissa nodded, taking his hand after pulling back. “We can cuddle, right?”
"Yeah sure, Mel." Lucas flopped down in the blanket fort and stretched out, humming softly to himself.
Melissa smiles softly, curling up besides him with a smile. She nuzzled his cheek with a soft hum. “Mm, I love you.”
"Love you too, Mel…" Lucas pulled Melissa close to himself and smiled gently.
Melissa smiled, kissing him. She buried her face in his chest, curling up closer. “You’re the best…”
"Mmm… no you~…" Lucas returned the kiss, resting his head on Melissa's.
Melissa smiles brightly, looking up at him. “Mmmmmm… I don’t think so.” She hummed softly, holding his face in one of her hands.
"Mmmmm… well I disagree." Lucas stuck his tongue out playfully.
Melissa huffed, nuzzling against his nose. “We could agree to disagree?”
Lucas huffed a bit as well. "Mm… fiiiiine…" He buried his face in Melissa's shoulder.
Melissa smiles, pecking his lips. She snuggled up closer with a content sigh. “I like this… we should build a fort more often.”
"Mmm… I'd like that, Mel. This is nice…" Lucas returned the kiss and huddled a little closer.
“Maybe we could build a tent in the summer time, out in the clearing.” Melissa smiled brighter, her voice cheery.
"Yeah, that'd be fun. We could camp out for a weekend or something." Lucas smiled gently as well.
“Yeah! We could stay out there, away from the world.” Melissa grinned, kissing his forehead. “No one could bother us.”
"Mhmm." Lucas returned the kiss and pulled Melissa closer. "It'd be fun."
"Cody could come… and maybe we could camp out on the beach some other time." Melissa hummed, resting her head against him.
"I think the beach closes at night, though… we probably wouldn't be allowed to sleep there." Lucas hummed thoughtfully.
"Mmmm… maybe we could look at renting a beach house?" Melisa hummed in return, studying the roof of their tent.
"Yeah, I doubt we could afford it." Lucas laughed softly. "Do your have any friends who live in beach houses? Maybe we can crash with them for a day or two."
"Mm… I can't think of anyone specifically." Melissa hummed softly, pursing her lips in thought. "Mm… well, maybe. I don't know if they still live there or not."
