"Sure!" Lucas pulled out the stick and shoved it into the side of the snowman. "I think he looks nice."
"Sure!" Lucas pulled out the stick and shoved it into the side of the snowman. "I think he looks nice."
“I agree. Once we give him a face, he definitely needs a name.” Melissa hummed, picking up a couple stones. “Do you want to give him a face?”
"Sure, unless you'd rather do it." Lucas shrugged a bit as he accepted the stones from Melissa.
“No, that’s okay. Go ahead.” Melissa hummed, getting up and hugging him from behind. “I’m already kinda cold…”
"We can head in after this, then." Lucas stuck the stones into the snowman to construct a face for it and then got to his feet. "There we go."
Melissa nodded, snuggling up against him when he was standing. “Mmm, what are we gonna name it?” She asked softly, looking up at him.
"I dunno… why don't you name it, Mel?" Lucas suggested. "Whatever you want to name it."
“Ummmmm….” Melissa trailed off, resting her head on his shoulder. “Mmm, Mr. Snowman isn’t very original, but that’s about the only thing I can think of.”
"Mm… maybe… Frank." Lucas snickered a bit. "I dunno. I'm not the best at names either."
“Frank the snowman… why not?” Melissa hummed, kissing his cheek. “We’re gonna have a hard time if we ever have kids.”
Lucas flushed and nodded a bit, toying with his hair nervously. "Y-Yeah, probably…" He laughed weakly.
Melissa glanced up at him, kissing his cheek. “Come on, let’s head inside, yeah?” She hummed, pulling him towards the house.
Lucas nodded a bit and allowed Melissa to pull him inside. "What do you wanna do?"
“Change out of my wet jeans, for starters.” Melissa laughed a little, kissing his cheek once more. “Mm, I don’t know what else, honestly.”
"Sounds cool. I should probably change too… be right back." Lucas returned the kiss and headed to the bathroom to change.
Melissa followed behind him, but kept going to her room. When she came out, she smoothed down her dress before walking down the stairs to the living room.
Lucas came out of the bathroom wearing dress clothes. It wasn't anything special, of course, but he had on a nice white dress shirt, slacks, and nice shoes. "How's this, Mel?"
Melissa glanced over to him, smiling softly. "I think you look lovely. Very handsome indeed." She hummed softly, coming up to take one of his hands.
Lucas smiled gently and pulled Melissa closer to kiss her. "I love you, darling~…"
"I love you, too~" Melissa whispered, kissing him in return. She dropped her head on his shoulder, loosely holding onto his waist.
Lucas flushed a bit and rested his head against Melissa's. "You ready to go, Mel? You look lovely, by the way…"
"Mm, as long as you are." Melissa smiled softly, nuzzling against his cheek. "Thank you, darling… that means a lot."
"Mhmm." Lucas helped Melissa into her coat and pulled his own on. "Let's get going, then."
Melissa smiled softly, buttoning it. She took his arm as they started out the door. "I love you~"
"Love you too, darling." Lucas led Melissa along the sidewalk, humming softly to himself as he did so.
"Where are we going, anyways?" Melissa asked softly, looking over to him as they walked.
"Italian restaurant, remember? It's pretty close." Lucas gently nuzzled against Melissa's cheek.
"I meant which one." Melissa hummed softly, biting on her lower lip a little. "Or is it a secret?"
"It's a secret~" Lucas kissed Melissa again and smiled slyly. "And not just because I can't remember how to pronounce it."
Melissa laughed some, leaning into his kiss. "Mm, alright, alright." She hummed, pecking his lips.
