"Mm… I'm gonna wanna change out of these clothes, so maybe in about an hour? Maybe we could be out here for half an hour, and that gives me time to change and get ready when we're done outside?" Melissa hummed a little, looking over to him.
"Sounds great, darling." Lucas kissed Melissa's cheek softly and hugged her. "I love you, Mel~…"
“Mm, I love you, too.” Melissa chirped, nuzzling her nose against his cheek. “Thanks for being here with me.”
"Of course, my darling~" Lucas flushed a bit and returned the nuzzles, smiling gently at Melissa.
Melissa giggled some, pulling him a little closer. “I love you so much~” She hummed, kissing his cheek again.
"Love you too, Mel~" Lucas happily returned the kisses and held tightly to her.
Melissa smiled brightly, curling up closer to him. “Mmmm, we should probably get back to our snowmaaaaaaaan~”
"Yeahhhh…" Lucas continued rolling up the snow so he could make the snowman. "What should we name him?"
“I dunno. Did we name the first one?” Melissa asked softly, rounding out the bottom. “I can’t remember…”
"Nope! We totally should, though." Lucas snickered a bit. "It would make them more fun."
“Mm, well, once we build it we can name them.” Melissa hummed, starting on the second half of the snowman.
"Sounds good to me, Mel." Lucas kept rolling the snow, humming contentedly to himself.
Melissa smiles softly, chewing on her lower lip as she built up the snowman. Eventually they had a snowman body, but without any other accessories. “Mmm, he needs arms.”
"Yeah, probably. Wanna go find him some twigs?" Lucas smiled gently and placed a snowball on the base.
“Mm, sure. We should also look for things to make his face.” Melissa noted, getting up to head to the backyard. “Come on, you too Cody.”
Cody ran after Melissa when he was called, panting heavily as he did so. "Have fun, you kids!"
“You’re not coming?” Melissa hummed, stopping as she came up to the gate. “I can’t look for it all myself.”
"If you want me to, darling." Lucas smiled gently and got to his feet to follow Melissa.
Melissa took his hand, pulling him into the backyard with a smile. “Mm, what are we looking for first? The face or arms?”
"Probably both at once so we don't have to get up again." Lucas laughed softly and allowed Melissa to pull him along.
Melissa nodded, dropping back down into the snow to look for stones. “Mm, yeah true.” She hummed, picking up one or two.
Lucas grabbed every little stick and stone he could find, hoping one of them would be good enough.
Melissa hummed quietly to herself, quietly gathering rocks as she whispered quiet songs under her breath. “Mm, I think this is enough. What’d you find?”
"I found… sticks!" Lucas grinned brightly over at Melissa with a bunch of twigs bundled up in his arms.
"Good! We should be good to head back up front, then." Melissa hummed, getting up and reaching for one of his hands.
"Good! We should be good to head back up front, then." Melissa hummed, getting up and reaching for one of his hands.
Lucas took Melissa's hand as well as he could with all the sticks he was holding and followed her back to the front yard.
Melissa smiles brightly as they came up to the snowman, glancing over to Lucas. “Mmm, what first? Should we pick out his arms?”
"Sure!" Lucas dumped all the sticks onto the ground and started rooting through them for particularly nice twigs.
Melissa dropped the stones into a small pile as well, coming besides him to help look for some branches. “Mm, how about that one?”
