Gabe nodded.
"Only if you feel like you can handle it," he promised.
Gabe nodded.
"Only if you feel like you can handle it," he promised.
He nodded slightly, eyes flickering away for a moment.
"Alex…" Gabe reached up one hand, gently cupping the man's cheek.
"Are you one hundred percent sure you can do this? I don't want this hurting you…"
He nodded again. "I…I think so."
"Okay, then…" Gabe moved over to hug Alex lightly.
Alex hugged him back, leaning close.
"I love you…" Gabe said, voice gentle. "I want to take care of you out here…"
He nodded faintly.
Gabe smiled some.
"Mm… we're going to make it."
"We will." he agreed softly.
Gabe pulled away after a moment, one hand staying on Alex's.
Alex laced his fingers into Gabe's.
Gabe smiled, lifting Alex's hand to kiss it lightly.
He smiled up at Gabe.
Gabe smiled back. For a moment, he stayed there, before moving forward to hug the man close to himself.
He leaned into Gabe with a hum.
Gabe hummed as well. He kissed Alex's head, smiling.
Alex smiled up at him.
Gabe hummed, finally letting go and standing.
"Well, shall we go about setting up camp?"
He nodded a little. "Yeah."
"Okay… so… what do we need?" Gabe let out a sigh. He was a city boy, how would he?
"Do we have a tent?" Alex asked slowly, highly doubting that they did.
"Ah… no." Gabe let out a sigh. Too bad they didn't have time to prepare…
He frowned a little. They still had time before sunset. "We can build a lean-to?" He suggested.
"Um, okay then! What do we need?" Gabe shifted some, looking to Alex for direction.
"Lots of sticks." he said. "Although…a leanto would be hard to make, so maybe just a small shelter big enough to sleep in, and then we can start on a house in the morning?"
"Mm." Gabe nodded his head once.
"Well, shall we get looking then?"
"Yeah. We still need a lot of sticks, though, for the shelter."
"Right. We'll just have to put the work in, though, and we'll get this done!" Gabe smiled, taking Alex's hand.
He nodded. "Let's find sticks." he said.
