Melissa smiled softly, getting up from her seat when they finished off the funnel cake. "Alright, alright. You ready to head that way?"
Melissa smiled softly, getting up from her seat when they finished off the funnel cake. "Alright, alright. You ready to head that way?"
"Mhmm!" Lucas got to his feet as well and threw away their trash. "Let's get going, darling!"
"Mm, you're so cute." Melissa hummed softly, wrapping an arm around his waist as they continued on.
"Am not!" Lucas stuck his tongue out playfully as he followed Melissa. "Now, where do you wanna go?"
"Mm, are too." Melissa insisted, burying her face into his shoulder. "And down that way."
Lucas huffed a bit and headed towards where Melissa directed him. "What's down here?" He asked.
"Mmm… stands where people are selling things, but I was more focused on the glass blower. He's really cool." Melissa hummed softly, pulling him towards one of the small shops.
"Interesting… you wanna blow some glass?" Lucas asked curiously. "I think we can do that…"
“Mm, I don’t actually know if we can.” Melissa mumbled. “But the guy who does it is really nice. So maybe? He makes really cool things, even if we can’t do it.”
"Sure, Mel. Sounds good to me." Lucas kissed Melissa's cheek softly and led her inside.
Melissa smiles softly, looking around the shop. There was delicate glass figurines all around, seeming to reflect light from the window. “It’s so pretty…” She whispered, feeling the need to be quiet.
"Yeah… almost as pretty as you, darling." Lucas nuzzled against Melissa's cheek again with a happy hum.
Melissa giggled softly, her face flushing a soft red. “Luuuu~” Melissa whined softly, pulling away from him just a little.
Lucas pulled Melissa closer and kept showering her with kisses, snickering a bit to himself.
Melissa's face flushed more as she tried to lean away. “Luuuuuuu…” She continued to whine, but was grinning brightly.
"Melllll~" He crooned back, grinning as well. "I love you~"
Melissa bit her lip, resting her chin on his shoulder. “Mmm… I love you, too…” She whispered, holding onto him tightly.
"So, what do you wanna do about this glass thing, hmm?" Lucas asked softly.
“Mm… I thought we’d look around for right now…” Melissa shrugged, leaning into his arms for the moment.
"Sounds good." He took Melissa's hand and started walking around the shop.
Melissa followed behind him, looking over the little glass figurines. She smiled gently, slowing down to gently pick one of them up. “It’s so impressive how they can get so much detail into something so delicately small…”
"Yeah… I'm not sure how they do it." Lucas smiled gently and picked up one of the figurines as well to examine.
Melissa smiled softly, setting down the figure. “It’s so pretty, honestly. All the glass work, is.” She hummed a little, kissing his cheek.
"Mhmm." Lucas happily returned the kiss and hugged Melissa. "Is there any one of these you want?"
Melissa shrugged a little, continuing through the store. “Mm, not really right now. Besides, I know what you’re thinking. I don’t want you to buy me something, Lu. You already got me funnel cake.”
"Oh, come on… it's your birthday! I wanna get you something nice!" Lucas grinned brightly at Melissa.
“You being here is really all I need.” Melissa insisted, holding onto his hand tightly. “You really don’t have to get me anything, love.”
"But I want to, Mel… I wanna get you a nice present for your birthday. Is there any of these that you really like?"
Melissa sighed softly, glancing around the store once again. "This is pretty…" She whispered, picking up a small glass rose, a slight smile pulling at her lips.
"It is…" Lucas smiled gently down at the glass rose and kissed Melissa's cheek. "Very pretty."
