Evan snuggled in. "Oh! Do you think you could at least attempt to do my makeup? It doesn't have to be good, it can be silly or whatever. I'm just curious as how you would do it." He said with a smile, looking at Fun.
Evan snuggled in. "Oh! Do you think you could at least attempt to do my makeup? It doesn't have to be good, it can be silly or whatever. I'm just curious as how you would do it." He said with a smile, looking at Fun.
Fun thought, tilting his head a bit.
"Okay, I can try," he conceded, smiling some. "But I might need some pointers. I don't know what any of this is…" Fun chuckled some, looking over the makeup.
"Of course. Here I'll do the Foundation." He held up a bottle of creamy stuff. "On myself. With the Makeup Sponge." He held up a blue tear drop shaped sponge and stood in front of his mirror and began to put it on. "Punching myself in the face with makeup. Always fun. Then you do eyeshadow, which is what most of the powdery bright colored stuff in the little pallets are. I'll let you choose the colors and apply as you please." He sat next to Achilles on the bed.
Fun laughed a bit as Evan spoke, watching him apply the makeup. He smiled when Evan sat with him, reaching over to grab one of the pallets. He made sure to see that it was, infact, eyeshadow before opening it.
"Which brushes should I use?" he asked, not wanting to mess up Evan's supplies.
Evan handed him a small handled eyeshadow brush. "This is one of the three eyeshadow brushes I'll use in a basic look but as to not to overwhelm you we'll just use this one. It'll be simple." He nodded and closed his eyes, a soft smile on his face.
"I see…" Fun examined the brush a moment, dipping it into one of the powders. It seemed to be a red, so Fun lifted it up to apply lightly around the edge of Evan's eyes.
"I'm so sorry for the mess I'm about to make on your face," he said with a soft laugh.
"I've had 6 year olds do my makeup. You can't do as bad as that. And who knows maybe if you like doing it I can teach you how. I wouldn't mind." He then relaxed his face, taking a few deep breaths as he let Fun do his thing.
"Oh, I see, I see," Fun said with a chuckle. "And it would be nice, if you'd do that. It could be fun." Fun smiled, brushing the current powder off, going for a lighter shade now.
"Yeah, which is what you are." He said with a soft hum to his voice. He found doing makeup almost therapeutic in a sense. It was really relaxing to just let someone cover his face up. He sat stone still which was sort of weird but he seemed relaxed and pretty content.
Fun smiled softly.
"Yeah, I guess I am." He continued, smiling softly to himself. He fell quiet, the brush lightly moving against Evan's skin.
"There," he said, pulling away. "How does it look?"
"I'm not looking until you finish it all silly goose. Next would be mascara and eyeliner if you're feeling risky." He said with a soft hum to his voice. He then leaned up and kissed Fun, and relaxed his face once more. "Mascara are those kinda weird shaped and brightly colored ones. I use the pink and green one. You put it on my eyelashes to color them. Eyeliner you put on BEFORE mascara. Along the edge of the eye. I won't have you do wings that's really hard."
"A-ah, right." Fun looked down at the items Evan had mentioned.
"Um, I don't think I'm feeling quite confident enough to use the eyeliner yet," he admitted. He picked up the pink mascara, taking a moment to figure out how to open it. He held the wand in his hand, just kind of… staring at it.
"How do I do this..?" he asked, chuckling some at his own cluelessness.
Evan stood up and took it. "Pink? Interesting." He then went over to the mirror and applied the eyeliner first, explaining mostly through example and careful wording on explaining how to use it and the purpose, and the same with the mascara. "I like it. It's definitely different of my usual color pallete, not that I'm complaining. I always like trying something new. Now normally if this was a Drag Look I'd use falsies, or fake eyelashes. You glue them onto your regular eyelashes to make them bigger and fuller. Anyways. Next is blush and then I'll show you how to use highlighter." He picked up a pretty bright pink blush and a huge puffy brush. "Now then be really light with blush. It's supposed to be noticeable but not obvious, and this has a pretty heavy tint to it." He handed them both to Fun and sat back down on the bed. "And it's okay if you don't get it right the first time. This is for fun and practice. You never get anything perfect the first time. Mom believes perfect doesn't truly exist within human nature so. There's that for ya too."
Fun nodded some.
"I think it looks nice on you, for as bad I was at putting it on." The man chuckled some, watching Evan as he explained.
"Mm… okay then!" He accepted the blush, looking from Evan to it a few times. He carefully lifted the brush up, jut barely touching it to Evan's cheek a moment.
"Mm… your mother's right, as always."
"Of course she is. She's Crystal." He said gently, trying to relax his face as much as possible to let Fun work. "I'm glad you seem so confident and proud. You're doing wonderful lovey." He said softly, trying really hard to not bother Fun too much.
"Thank you for the vote of confidence. To be quite honest, the only reason I'm doing this good is because I know I won't be able to do a perfect job, not at all." Fun eventually pulled the blush brush away.
"Whaddya mean baby? You're doing great! Much better than I did my first time." He said gently, kissing Fun's nose with a chuckle. "I have no doubt that with a little bit of extra practice and my careful guidance you'll become great at makeup, and anyone I think can rock makeup."
Fun blushed some at the praise.
"Okay, then…" He smiled softly, obviously pleased. He hummed a bit, looking down at the remaining makeup.
"What next?"
"Highlighter. I have a gold and a silver." He grabbed a sort of sideway tight bristled blush brush. "Start at the corner of my lips and go back, and then dabble your finger and do it at the top of my cupids bow, or the bottom the philtrum (I googled what it was called so…) And then another finger dabble at the nose tip, to make your skin glow a bit."
"Mm…" Fun carefully followed Evan's instruction, touch light.
"Like this?" He smiled a bit to himself, not really sure if his technique was proper.
"Yeah it looks great!" He said as he checked his face out in the mirror. "Now then lipstick. I won't bother with lip liner or shading or anything fancy like that. Or you could lip gloss. I don't think I have to explain how too do that but. If you do need help let me know. Lipstick all those pretty tubes in the second shelves and lipgloss is the liquid stuff."
Fun nodded some. He examined the lipsticks, carefully picking one out. It was lighter color, closer to a nude. He wanted Evan's eyes to be the main focus. They were so pretty, after all, on their own. He smiled some, carefully applying the makeup.
Evan made an O shape with his lips so it was easier for Fun to hit all the corners and touch up on it where needed. He waited for the matte nude to dry and he grabbed it and made a few small little touch ups. "I'm surprised you went with a nude instead of a soft pink. Not disappointed just surprised. Very imaginative. I like it." He smiled and kissed Fun's cheek, leaving behind a small lipstick imprint. "Thank you handsome."
Fun smiled, hugging Evan for a moment.
"You're welcome, beautiful." He hummed softly, grinning. "Thanks for letting me practice on you." He wrapped his arms around Evan's waist when he pulled away from the hug, still smiling. He felt like he actually deserved to be called handsome in this moment. He didn't think anyone with his scars could have ever been, but with this makeup he could actually believe it.
He blushed and stood there, taking in Fun's facial features once more. His hand came up and cupped Fun's cheek, rubbing it softly. "You'll always be handsome. Don't forget that love. Or. Try not too." He smiled gently, a genuine smile one could tell as he stared into Fun's eyes. "I love you so much."
Fun blushed softly at Evan's words.
"Thank you, dear," he said. His voice was soft, and he smiled. He himself reached up, running his fingers through Evan's hair.
"I love you too. So much…"
He grinned and kissed Fun yet again, when he heard Crystal yell. "Evan get down here! It's movie night!" "Ooooh yes Movie!" He went to take off his collar but thought about it and dropped his hands, not ready to slip out of sub space yet. "Let's go cuddle and watch my siblings fight over what to watch." He then grabbed Fun's hands and headed downstairs.
"Oh yeah, the movie." Fun smiled, holding Evan's hand in turn. He headed downstairs with his lover, still content. He hummed some, leaning over to kiss Evan's cheek lightly as they made their way out.
Evan crawled into Funs lap once he sat down on the couch and watched his siblings fight, ignoring some of the weird looks he got since he was wearing his collar still. Eventually they decided to watch The Princess And The Frog and everyone settled in.
(I back :0 Art commissions aren't ready yet but I've burnt myself out with my art for the moment and I need to take a break)
Fun let out a soft hum as Evan came into his lap, wrapping his arms around his lover. He looked at the other people quarreling, keeping quiet. He kissed the side of Evan's head lightly, a small content smile on his lips. He'd never seen the movie that was put on, so he watched with interest. He hadn't really been one for sitting and watching things, but it would be nice to just relax with Evan like this.
